Cyfie Farm
We came to visit Cyfie in 2016 and fell in love with the beauty and tranquillity of the place. We loved the farm so much that we couldn't resist the opportunity to live in such a wonderful place.

We live here with our two boys, Labradors Chewy, Lily, Ella, Poppet and Oreo three horses Sol, Maggie and Mutley, barn cats, several Pygmy goats, Boer goats, rare breed Golden Guernsey goats, numerous Jacob sheep, several rare breed pigs and lot of chickens and ducks.Cyfie farm is a 5 star establishment offering self-catering accommodation.
Services
Cyfie Farm offers four luxurious five star self-catering cottages, all of which have been lovingly restored from 17th century buildings and have their own private hot tubs. If you would like to bring your four legged friends, on holiday with you, our cottages are pet friendly and we have a paddock and adjoining stables for those wishing to bring their horses.
This one bedroom cottage has been converted from a 17th Century Cow Crush and is full of character. On the ground floor the cottage has a lounge/dining room with an inglenook fireplace and logburner and a seperate fully equipped kitchen. Whilst on the first floor the bedroom has a super king-size bed and a bathroom.
We have 2 stables and an adjoining paddock available for guests to use and usually charge 15 per horse per night. There are lots of opportunities for riding in the area, either direct from the farm or within a short drive. In particular the amazing Dyfnant Forest Rainbow Trails are only 5 miles away and offer nearly 100 miles of safe off road tracks on colour coded routes and are set within 20,000 acres.
Enjoy the spectacular views across Vyrnwy valley and the Welsh hills from our beautiful 1 acre hillside garden. Wonder around our lower garden and then through the secret doorway to our woodland garden with many rhododendrons, camellias and azaleas along our bluebell banks. The gardens at Cyfie are sheltered on the side of a hilltop at 900 feet and overlook the Vyrnwy Valley.
There are many different walks from the farm, which is near to the Ann Griffiths Walk and Glyndwr's Way, both in the Vyrnwy valley below the farm. There are gentle short walks around the farm which take in some breathtaking scenery with 360 degree panoramas across the width of Wales. There are other walks with tea shops and a pub inter-dispersed along your route - ask us for details.
