Purchased a £499 cooker hood sold as “Damaged box - New Item”
This was a complete lie, the unit had been out already, was a refurbished item, had logo stickers missing and was completely knackered.
I did purchase this 21/09/21 along with all other white goods ahead of kitchen install due to recent haulage difficulties.
Upon complaint 22/11 they refused to acknowledge the unit was a refurb or any damage stating “I could have done it myself”.
Shocking customer services and shocking miss advertising and sales.
What kind of customer service spins an issue around and

Terrible experience with the delivery.
I was given a slot between 8-10 am on Thursday the 24th.
The driver calls in the morning and asked to where to park, so I guided him and asked him if he need me to come down but he reuses and he said he will park on the road instead and that he knows the building.
After about 20 minutes of waiting, I checked with the drive to see if he found the building and he said I had to leave because there was an incident and I was asked by police to leave. When I went down to check of there was any police on the road, there was none! So I had to call the company and

I ordered Zanussi cooker from this company and I was very concerned, as I never used their services before.
They've been communicating with me all the way through. I was informed with a phone call about the delivery date, soon after the purchase. The delivery man was very helpful and delivered the cooker to my door. I'm giving you full stars for the brilliant customer service.
I hope I won't have any issues with the cooker. It's working perfectly for now. :)

What a brilliant company, we had quite a few appliances bought from them and are absolutely happy. We bought island hood, which was too big for us and we only realized once it came so asked if replacement would be possible, company agreed without any problem. Once our replacement hood arrived we saw that we ordered wall hood so had to be a pain and call company again to ask for replacement and they were brilliant swapped the hood for the second time and refunded the difference of the cost! Would highly recommend and will be definitely buying again! Prompt and 100% customer orientated service!

Very friendly and helpful. Exceptional customer service from the person answering the phone, to Keith and the lady in sales who went out of her way to help me put together items from different brands to match, to the delivery chap. Customer service after purchase also excellent. Had a part missing on a graded dishwasher and they sent one straight down without any equivocation. Have now purchased from Secondtek a few times and wouldn’t purchase an appliance from anywhere else, if they have what I want in stock. Great value for money too. Highly recommended.
