Murdock Builders Merchants was originally established in 1982 with the set-up of Newry Building Supplies Ltd on the Rathfriland Road in Newry. After a brief period at this location Newry Building Supplies transferred to a bigger more central location on the Greenbank Industrial Estate in Newry where it remains today.
Murdock Builders Merchants growth has been a combination of organic and by acquisition, and we are currently recognised as a leading supplier of building materials and timber in the island of Ireland. We have 14 Builders Merchants branches plus two bespoke timber sites in Ireland consisting of Cranwood Industries and Murdock Trusses, and a Civils Division with plans for continued growth.

Our low maintenance Composite Decking makes an attractive addition to any outdoor space. This Ash Grey Dual sided eco-friendly decking is UV stable, easy to clean and long lasting. Supplied in 3.6metre lengths it is 146mm wide x 23mm deep. Treated timber decking board suitable for use in a variety of commercial or domestic landscaping projects such as patios and steps.

Fantastic service in the Duncrue branch. I was let down by another company at last minute to supply wood. Called into the branch and spoke with Karen she had everything sorted within ten mins went the extra mile to help me at such short notice. I then got my delivery half an hour later. Thanks guys 110% for service
