Very unprofessional BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN GETTING A PRICE FOR WORK AS IT WILL GO UP BY A HUGE AMOUNT. I contacted them about doing a gearbox service on my car I gave them the car reg year and the exact gearbox model which is what you will need to give a accurate price for the work, Martyn rang on Monday the 02/07/2021 gave me a price of £350 which I accepted and the car was booked in for the next day the work should have taken less then 2 hours as I have had this done before, the car was dropped off at 9 am and Martyn said he would give me a call in the afternoon well never got the call so I rang

I Arrived on time at 9 am to find out that I was leaving my car there most of the day, I was not told that I would have to leave my car there so I did not organize a way to get home. They had been kind enough to drop me to my mums house 10 mins away. I told them I needed my car for school pick up at 3, they said they would have it done.
I had been waiting all day for my car, i had to call a couple of times to find out how long it would take them to just change my gearbox oil, they just kept saying they will call me and let me know. I am very disappointed in the service received.

DO NOT USE THIS GARAGE. The worst garage experience i've had. Went in for a service and MOT and they kept my car for 2 days. Never called me to update me on anything; i called them 5 times in the end. I asked them 3 times for the cost of the service and MOT to which they advised they didnt know. They were "fixing" problems they were never asked to fix and quoted me "about £1,000.00" after 2 days. When i refused to pay that much they asked what my budget was and then miraculously lowered their price by plucking a figure out of thin air. When i went to collect my car they spoke to me very very rudely

Despite the warning I had by a medical doctor at St Peters not to take my car to this garage, I was lured to do my MOT at £36 only. So thought they were excellent. The next time I had a small glitch with plugs, I took the car to be serviced by Oak Services as I thought they were reasonable. I was given a reasonable quote, then was handed a massive bill more than 4 times the quote I was given after claiming they had purchased components. I was shocked to discover that my car while it was under repair had done in excess of 68 miles and had consumed more than half a tank of petrol. When I confronted

Oaks quoted me £900+ of work for my car to pass its MOT. I took it elsewhere for a 2nd opinion and was quoted £600 for the exact same work. It transpired that some of the work quoted by Oaks was not even required. Result was it cost me £460 to get the necessary work done by another garage. So not only did Oaks want to charge 50% more than another garage but they also claimed I needed work doing which was not necessary. In addition, they messed me around over returning the car back to me. would not recommend this garage.
