Business owner, Laura MacLeod, is no stranger to animals. Growing up at the 6-acre Goval Croft, she was surrounded by horses, geese, pigs, ducks, rabbits, cats, dogs and more. Laura pursued her love for animals through her education and career choices. Over the last 10 years, Laura has held the role of an Animal Welfare Officer with responsibility for enforcing the standards of care that pet shops, breeders, kennels and catteries must adhere to.

When it comes to providing accommodation and care of your pet, few people are as well qualified, experienced and knowledgeable as Laura. Housed in our purpose built and insulated pet lodge, you can rest assured that your beloved pet is safe, secure, warm and relaxed. Just two miles from Dyce Airport and set within a 6-acre smallholding, we enjoy an idyllic countryside location.

Laura looked after our two Guinea Pigs, Coco and Fudge for over two weeks. Absoloutely delighted with how well they have been taken care of. Lovely clean hutch and they certainly looked happy chaps when we collected them. You can tell Laura puts a lot of time and love into looking after the animals. Will 100% be back again! - Thank you Laura.

We've recently used Goval pets while away for a few days. Laura invited us to see where the guinea pigs would stay beforehand, the place looked great and very clean. Loved seeing pictures of the piggies whilst we were away too :) Great service ; would highly recommend and we will definitely contact Laura in the future ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Laura looked after my tortoise Giorgie during a recent holiday & it was a relief to know she was in good hands whilst we were away. Laura was great to communicate with & it was clear she was keen to provide the best care for Giorgie. Wallace the chinchilla had a wonderful time with Laura at goval pets. Wallace has rarely been left in unfamiliar surroundings in the 12 years I have owned him so I was quite nervous leaving him but once I got him to Laura’s at goval pets I was much more at ease as she was so nice and clearly well experienced with small animals. Thanks so much Goval pets and Wallace will definitely be back when we go away again x

My ferrets stayed at Goval Pets over Christmas , which allowed me to have a lovely time away without worrying about them as I knew they were being well looked after.. The accommodation block is clean and secure with a variety of hutches to suit all shapes and sizes. Laura is lovely, very helpful and knowledgeable.

Fantastic location and plenty space for small animals. Laura is lovely and looked after our hamster whilst we were on holiday. I would definitely recommend Goval Pets - we will be back with our hamster in the Summer hols! :)

A great location and plenty of space for small animals.
Pet's "house" is padlocked for security and there's plenty of space in hutches for rabbits, guinea pigs etc. If suitable, pets can get out in covered runs to enjoy the fresh air.
Great communication from Laura.
A pleasure to do business and highly recommended.

Laura was absolutely lovely. Was really interested in my cat Fox and her likes and dislikes. Even went above and beyond putting my bin out, which was very much appreciated! Got home from holiday to a very happy cat. Would recommend Laura and Goval Pets to anyone.
