B-Secure is a security company based in Portstewart, Northern Ireland specialising in the design and fitting of Basic Alarms, Monitored Alarms, Wireless Alarms, Digital CCTV, Security Lighting, Door Entry and Access Control Systems.
Basic Alarms, are known as "Bells Only Systems". However, modern Burglar Alarms don't use bells but have electronic sounders; these sounders can be fitted both inside and outside a property. The aim of this type of burglar alarm is to deter opportunist thieves and intruders by providing both a visual deterrent and an audible alert should they attempt to gain access to a protected property.
A Monitored Intruder Alarm is connected to an Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC). Therefore, in addition to the normal benefits of a basic alarm, should your alarm be triggered by a suspected intruder or by a heat or smoke sensor, the ARC is notified via a private communicator. The Alarm Receiving Centre will then inform key holders and/or the police depending on which options you have chosen.
Wireless Alarm Systems can be installed in houses which are not pre-wired. This is a good option, due to new heat loss regulations insulation in roof spaces makes it very difficult to add cable into existing properties. This alarms can be fitted in approximately half the time it takes to install a hard wired system.
