Wooden gates need to be extremely well manufactured to withstand the forces and stresses imposed by automation. Our timber gates are carefully fabricated with this in mind and always have a minimum finished thickness of 65mm. Wentworth Gates supply wooden gates made from either classic Oak or one of two hardwoods; Iroko or Sapele.
Metal gates, or wrought iron gates, are a popular choice, allowing both security and classic style. They require less maintenance than wooden gates, needing only occassional touch-ups to scratches or marks, and they won't warp over time, ensuring maximum durability. Wentworth Gates provide a wide range of metal gate designs, and can create beautiful bespoke wrought iron gates to suit your taste and requirements.
Aluminium gates are a great low-maintenace option as they are both lightweight and hard-wearing. Unlike wooden, steel or metal gates, alumimium gates remain unaffected by the elements, so will never rot or warp, and will remain rust-free for a lifetime. Offering both style and security, we can manufacture aluminium gates in either a traditional or contemporary design, and they are available in any RAL colour.

We wanted a new resin driveway, Railings, a new brick wall, patio, fencing and electric gates installed, Wentworth were great from start to finish, they provided a good competitive quote and could project manage the whole thing from start to finish.
David, Rob, Ben, Oli, Jack (and even Luke chipped in for a bit) were all great, they were very professional and cleaned and tidied as they went. If there was anything that deviated from what was agreed they would ask us if it was ok, whether it a big or small unexpected issue, which gave us great peace of mind that we wouldn't come out to see something

David and his team did a fantastic job, working quickly and efficiently despite terrible weather conditions. All the guys were lovely and explained exactly what they were doing at each stage. They were very careful to clear up at the end of each day, even going as far as to hose down my car because it had got dusty. Nothing was too much trouble. Every effort was made to ensure the final job looked perfect. I would definitely recommend Wentworth Gates and will make sure to sing their praises to anyone considering a new gate or fencing for their property.

Rather than replace our existing gates and brick gate posts (that hadn't worked for the last 8 years!), Wentworth Gate were very happy to clean up the existing bricks and repoint the gate posts. Our old gates were taken away to be shot blasted and recoated and with a new electronic mechanism installed they look and work like brand new ones, for a considerably lower price than replacing the whole lot.
Wentworth Gates then returned to resurface the drive with resin, including increasing the size of the existing drive, replacing the edging stones and installing new lights.

After checking out a few companies I chose David and his team to separate our shared driveway and create a new gated entrance from the road. It was a large project over a number of weeks, with several lorry loads of earth taken away to level the ground and create the new entrance. All interactions were positive and the quality of work excellent.
