Maybank Studios is a dedicated recording studio in the southside of Glasgow with over 1200 square feet of studio space. With 2 main recording rooms in addition to 2 isolation booths and a large control room, we can accommodate most recording projects. Recording is to Protools HD 11, with 64 analogue ins and outs, including 16 channels of Prism sound conversion and 48 channels of SSL.
We also offer a mobile recording studio which is available throughout Scotland for those wishing to capture live events, or facilitate recording in acoustic spaces outwith the studio environment. Studio equipment includes AMEK Classic large format console, Neve, Focusrite and Avalon mic pres, mics from Neumann, Gefell, AKG and Manley, Pearl Masters Series drumkit, vintage Hammond C3 and L100, and much more.

Services
We have an ideal setup for live recording of acoustic or electric bands, with complete separation possible due to our complement of different rooms and booths. All the rooms have direct visual contact with the control room, and each area has its own unique sound - The main live area has a natural but controlled acoustic, which works well for strings, acoustic guitars, and a big drum sound.
Our multitrack mobile recording system is available throughout Scotland to capture live performances or concerts, both acoustic and electric. The equipment is all of the same high standard as our in house gear, and will integrate fully with any sound system to capture the event on digital multitrack, which can be mixed down in the comfort of our studio after the event.
Fully pressed (glass mastered) CDs are the choice for larger runs where you need top retail quality at a low unit price. Litho printing ensures the best print quality for your product, and cellophane wrap comes as standard on most packages. Ideal for short runs on a faster turnaround, our CD-R duplications are made to high quality media at low burn speeds for maximum compatibility.
