Established in 2001, Pro Screed are a well established floor construction and underfloor heating provider based in the North of England. To assess if the screed is adequately compacted and the probable performance in use, the BRE screed tester can be used to perform 'Drop tests'.

Insufficient or improper preparation can cause premature failures of the flooring and unforeseen additional costs.

As such, Pro Screed know how to meticulously screed a floor step by step, we can demonstrate this to our customers quickly and professionally.
The process of floor construction begins with a high quality substrate or slab. This is most commonly made from a single pour of concrete using a concrete transfer pump, alternatively it is poured straight from the concrete mixer. The next step of the floor construction process is laying insulation on the substrate.

We had an overlay screed and ufh heating installed through the whole ground floor of our renovation. Mark was fantastic to deal with throughout, visting me a number of times before quoting and answering my many messages and email at all times. The team were polite and efficient on the day and floor looks great. The team helpfully also took lots of good photos for me so i know for future where pipe runs etc are. Would certainly recommend pro screed.

Mark did an excellent job laying our new concrete floor in our house. I found him and his team to be prompt, very efficient and clean. Communications were easy, Mark went out of his way to please and make everything stress-free and was extremely helpful at every step of the way.
