We specialise in all types of shoe and boot repairs for both mens and ladies. We are specialists in carrying out almost any repair from the smallest piece of sewing to a total shoe reconstruction. When your favourite shoe breaks or is in a state of wear and tear many can subconsciously decide to throw it away and buy a new pair instead of getting them fixed.
Our bespoke engraving service allows you to add that personalised touch to any item. With over 200 different fonts and a huge selection of different designs available we are confident we will find one to cater for you.
At Traditional Repair Services we also provide a Key Cutting service carried out by our professional locksmith. Keys that are not cut by a trained expert can leave dents and imperfections in your locks which will mean they slowly lose their integrity over time. The high quality service we offer means our Key Cutting service allows them to be cut to the highest possible standard.

I have a pair of shoes that I absolutely love and much to my wife's annoyance I refused to get rid of them. Being a slave to trying to keep her happy I took them to Kevin who has made them look as good as new by putting on a new heel and putting on a new sole on. Thanks Kevin, I am happy and the wife, well, she is reasonably happy but she is never happy.

I've just collected numerous pairs of boots from Kevin.
The work carried out is beautiful, complete Dainite resole, and of the utmost quality.
I also had some women's heels repaired and those too have turned out amazingly.
I am very happy I found Traditional Shoe Repairs and I will be using them now for any repairs that need to be made in the future.

I took in some favourite shoes to be re-soled and was quoted £25. I paid £10 deposit and was told it would take a week. The guy in the shop was rude and unapologetic when he told me they weren't ready a week later after I had driven in heavy traffic to collect them. It then took a further week to complete the job and when I collected them he told me I had £19.95 to pay. It should have been £15 and when I queried it he said the job was £30 and not £25 which he denied having quoted!

As their name implies, they are, or should I say, he is a traditional shoe repairers. Although more expensive than the heel bars you see in shopping centres, they actually work out cheaper in the long run as I find their heels much harder wearing so you visit less often. They are the only place I would trust my shoes with. I tend to drop my shoes off on a Saturday and pick them up the next weekend, but if you want them quicker he usually offers a three day turnaround. Not sure if he does a same day service though.
