Barron Lodge Fishing Pool

We are located in Shropshire, the heart of England, just 10 minutes away from Tenbury Wells an historic market town and home of the counties premier Holly and Mistletoe auctions. We are also only 20 minutes away from the countries "Slowest City" Ludlow which is the gastronomic capital of Shropshire. Ludlow has more Michellin Starred restaurants than any other town in the country. Every year Ludlow holds a Festival which offers you an experience unique in open-air theatre. Step back in time and experience the world of Shakespeare in the truly glorious setting of Ludlow Castle.

In Barron Lodge we have a total of 5 rooms available, two twin rooms, one double room and two single rooms with an excellent on-site facilities. All of our rooms are tastefully decorated with exposed original timber beams enhancing the traditional feel of the house. There is also an iron and hairdryer and a wireless Internet available for guests to use.

Two nets, one for silver fish, the other one for the rest (nets must be dipped and rinsed in clear water before use) without any ground bait alive or dead, nor hemp seed or boilies. Must use landing nets. Towels and rags are not allowed to handle the fish (only nets). The night fishing is not allowed (conservation area).

We have got plenty of attractions in our area. Starting from Market Holly and Mistletoe auctions, which are taking place every year in December which are famous nationwide, also in Tenbury there is a 18th century Spa Pump Rooms. We are also only 20 minutes away from the countries "Slowest City" Ludlow which is the gastronomic capital of Shropshire.
