Additional Aids Mobility
Additional Aids Mobility has been helping people to choose the right mobility aids to enhance their quality of life and maintain independence for over 30 years. Our team holds relevant and current qualifications that enable them to offer sound and reliable advice on all mobility scooters, stairlifts and power chairs as well as other mobility aids.

Each product we stock is selected for both quality and cost effectiveness. Assessments of your individual needs and home environment can be carried out either in-store or at your own home by qualified and professional consultants to ensure the right choice of product is made to enhance your quality of life.
Services
A riser recliner is good in two ways: The rising action helps you to stand up as well as sit down, plus the reclining action can make you more comfortable, especially if you are sitting down for a large part of the day. A mobility aid is a device designed to assist walking or otherwise improve the mobility of people with a mobility impairment.
Our assessments are designed to ensure our customers are guided to the products that will best serve their needs. We hold current qualifications for selling and consulting on mobility scooters and stairlifts and are happy to speak to you in store, or even visit your home with a range of products for you to try and choose from.
Accessories such as incontinence pads that offer discreet protection and bedroom commodes that enable us to take care of night time toilet needs without the need to walk to a home toilet, can make a huge difference to our quality of life. Other items such as raised toilet seats, grab rails, adjustable toilet frames and mobile commodes can allow us to maintain independence at home.
If you are considering bathroom equipment to enhance your independence around the home, our team at Additional Aids Mobility will be happy to help you choose the right equipment for your home and specific needs whilst also taking into consideration your home environment. Some equipment will require a specific bathroom configuration, while other products are designed to adapt to almost any angle, direction or shape and size of bath.
Our team at Additional Aids Mobility's store in Whitton, West London can advise you on the range of toileting products we have available to help you maintain dignity, privacy and independence in your own home as you tend to your needs. They will be able to help you make an assessment of your mobility requirements and home environment so that the best equipment can be chosen for your existing and future needs.

I found Nigel to be so knowledgeable and professional in helping me select a wheelchair for my dad after he had a stroke. There was no 'hard sell'.

Came here to look for a mobility scooter for my father. They were extremely helpful, explained things thoroughly and let my father try the scooter out. We both came away alot more knowledgeable and definitely keen to move forward with the advice given.
Would definitely suggest visiting if looking for products like this.

Additional Aids helped my elderly parents to have an stair lift installed and the whole operation could not have gone smoother, they allayed all my fears regarding fitting and installing and my Mum and Dad were using their new stair lift within days, they couldn't be happier and nor could I. I can't recommend Additional Aids enough, they were courteous, helpful and advised us impartially throughout, ironing out any potential snags before they arose!

Excellent service. Nigel came up to Scunthorpe to assess my mother-in-law for a mobility chair and was able to arrange a local installer for delivery and comissioning. Thanks Nigel!
