At Football Futures, in order for our players to fully develop and progress within the football game, we must provide coaches that are experienced and qualified to a high level. This is paramount to help every individual player progress on their football journey. Each Football Futures coach not only must be able to demonstrate and teach every technique shown, but must share the Football Futures passion and philosophy set out.
We have established some of the best coaches in the county, who have a wide range of knowledge and experience in the professional game. Our coaches have played at professional clubs throughout their youth days, which has in turn inspired their own passion in the game.

REGISTER YOUR INTEREST and a member of our coaching/Education Team will be in touch with the next steps. If successful you will be given a conditional offer and then accepted depending on your results in August. Players will study a variety of nationally-recognised qualifications within sport, coaching and fitness managed by SCL.
Whilst training at the Whitstable Town FC Academy full-time, you can now study to become a fully Qualified Level 3 Personal Trainer. While continuing to train as part of the Whitstable Town FC Academy in our professional environment, you can now gain an internationally recognised Personal Training qualification as a Year 14 Programme (1 year course based at the Canterbury Academy School).
Our 1-1 training is an individualised experience that allows players to receive 1-1 training from our coaches, specifically focusing on areas that you need to work on. We work with all ages and abilities, as well as some of the very best professional players. These specific sessions are designed to challenge each player in areas that need extra work.
Our Advanced Academy is designed to offer both boys and girls, a platform to take their game to the next level. Our sessions are run by highly qualified and experienced coaches with a background in professional clubs who tailor sessions to the ability of the players, engaging and propelling each age group they are working with.
Our half term soccer schools are designed to provide each child with a fun filled half term. With our professional coaching, each child will learn new skills, improve on technical skills and participate in matches and tournaments. We pride ourselves on a fun and engaging environment, with prizes and medals to be won throughout the day.

Alex has recently started the Advanced Academy on a Friday night. He has done a lot of football over the years and at first was a little apprehensive to start something else. However after the first session he was so positive about the level of training on offer and the overall professionalism of the sessions, that he couldn’t wait to go back. He… then attended the 1 day elite camp in the October half term and again Alex was excited about the challenge, the demanding, technical focus of the coaching and the high standard of the boys he was training with. Was a great decision to move my 6yr old son to footballfutures, he's joined the U7 advanced acadamy in Canterbury and is really enjoying it. It's a high tempo very technical session and really pushes the kids… to become better players, with real emphasis on the what I would call basics that are often over looked at other academies. The coaches are excellent and I've also took advantage of a few 1-2-1 sessions for my son with his acadamy coach. These are a must if you want your child to develop even further. The difference in a few short weeks training in my sons game has been really noticeable

I can't speak highly enough of the FF academy. They work on developing the childrens skills, confidence and technical ability to a very high standard. The team are kind, welcoming, accommodating and more importantly they know their stuff! fantastic!!!!

Thankful to have found Football Futures where the technicality and intensity of the Elite Academy is more towards what our son is used to. We have been pretty disappointed with what we have seen training wise here in a Kent after moving our son home from an Academy club set up in Australia where the focus has been more towards the technical aspect… of the game, strength and conditioning, player/game analysis and developing players over 4 nights a week. My only wish is that the kind of training at FF happened more often and at club level. Would be amazing to have this kind of coaching for

My son been booked in for august.. absolutely loves it.. great training, great staff. Lovely to see kids having fun.. my son could go everyday if he could.. My Son started the Thanet Advanced Academy when it opened. This was only a few months ago and im so pleased with his progress. The coaches have really helped his confidence grow enormously. The coaching is superb and of high standard but is made enjoyable for the kids too. Rhys has had a great opportunity of playing in Academy games which also has helped with confidence and the coaching at these games has been outstanding.

My son has been playing for a local team for a few years now. Recently he started the development centre for football futures and loves it. Friendly professional training, pushing them too their potential. This… half term he went to his first soccer camp with football futures and had a fantastic time! Made new friends, building his confidence and football skills. Bringing home a medal on his last day for winning his age group tournament made his week! He is already looking forward to the summer holidays to attend the next holiday camp 🤞⚽️

Been going for over 3 years, both boys love it. They are always excited for Fridays as they get to go to football futures. Josh has helped both boys improve massively and has helped them reach big things such as academy trials for Millwall. Josh is an amazing coach and such a lovely, freindly boy. Both boys love him!!

My son Jack aged 10 has been going to Futures for around 4 months now. We were already at a very good advanced academy and due to a clash of evening commitments we moved to Futures on a recommendation from a friend. I could not believe how good they are!!

My 2 boys joined Football Futures 10 months ago and are now both in the Advanced Academy. I have seen them both improve dramatically over this time and they both thoroughly enjoy every training session, professional matches and the half term soccer schools. The academy is run extremely well by Josh Algar, who is always very professional, along with his team of coaches. Josh also offers excellent 1-1 training sessions which again is run to a very high, professional standard. Would highly recommend Football Futures for anyone looking to improve on their football skills and further their potential

My son Jake has been with Football Futures for nearly 2 years now. Throughout this time Jake has been given great opportunities playing against various professional clubs. Josh is a great coach who really cares about the development of his players, this shows when you get a report at the end of each season which details how the season has gone and what the player needs to work on. These reports must take him forever to complete for each player, but this shows his dedication to their development. More recently Jake has been attending 2:1 sessions with Josh and Bailey which are really helping him

Coach Bailey and Josh are professional in their approach and with the training techniques and strategies they use, I feel confident that my son will develop over the years into a footballer that will play to an excellent standard.

Football futures has been a godsend for my son. He’s been supported, challenged and they manage to get the best out of him building his confidence when needed. He has really enjoyed the holiday clubs and has been attending them for years. I recommend Josh and the team to all my friends with boys who are interested in playing. They understand how the boys work and get down to their level but maintaining their authority. Couldn’t recommend them enough.

My daughter has been attending Football Futures for just over a year now and I am so happy we found such a fantastic academy. My daughter absolutely loves the sessions at their Advanced Academy, each week of training sessions she has learnt something new.
