Outney Meadow is a family run Suffolk caravan park and camping site in the Waveney Valley countryside within easy walking distance of the historic market town of Bungay ideally situated between the river Waveney and the golf course at Bungay on the Norfolk and Suffolk border. We are also next door to Outney Common, a large loop of land by the river with excellent walks and birdwatching opportunities.
The camping area is grass with some trees for shade and shelter. There are 45 pitches, some with electric hook ups set in eight acres of ground and the park is open March to October. Dogs are welcome at the park but must be kept on a lead and exercised on the signed dog walk. Outney Meadow Caravan Park is an ideal base to explore East Anglia's coast and towns.

Good level well drained site, divided into several areas with a toilet block in the middle. Booking system easy enough to use and staff helpful especially if like us on our first visit. The common next door… was excellent for long or short dog walks and the river ideal for canoeing which you can hire from the site. The town with its shops, tearooms and pubs is in easy walking distance.
