We were asked to produce photography for this award winning guest house in Filey, North Yorkshire. The brief was to make the photography look as good as their excellent service. The owners told us that their guests who were always delighted by the excellent 5 star service often commented that the All Seasons website did not reflect the quality of their superb guest house.
We started working with The Black Swan in Helmsley in 2011. They wanted new images for their website and initially needed pictures of their newly refurbished rooms. We art directed and styled each room shot with the help of Jayne Potter who is marketing manager. As a studio still life specialists, Jayne asked if we could help with the new Black Swan menu.
We love to offer a full photographic service where we can share our ideas and advice. Our relationship with Blue Keld and Ice Co Ltd has really blossomed since 2007. We have witnessed the launch of many of their products in Sainsbury's, Tesco and recently M&S.
Working closely with their designers we had the opportunity to provide creative input and assisted with the development of their powerful branding from the water splash logo on their water bottle labels, to the frozen cocktails and Super Cube ice bags you find in the supermarket freezers.

Kirsty asked David Chalmers Photography to produce a series of working portraits that would illustrate her various services from personal coaching to business seminars. She wanted her personality to shine through as this is the key part of her excellent coaching service. We provided a portfolio of pictures that were more than just a regular head and shoulders shot.

I cant thank David enough for the fantastic set of photos he has produced for our Guest House website. Within a few days of my initial enquiry David visited us over a couple occasions to shoot the photos at a convenient time for ourselves, this was most helpful as it can be quite hard finding suitable days when the rooms are vacant.
After a further couple of days the photos were ready and delivered in a few formats, the results are 1st class and they have transformed our website. Would highly recommend 10/10

I have just finished an amazing day shooting with Angela and David Chalmers... They are absolutely unbelievable, the pair work so well together. Creating not only results that will blow your mind. But their hospitality and kindness just puts you at ease straight away. They are A* talent and I would highly recommend them. Im beyond happy with the results of today. Thank you so much. Just finished a workshop day with David showing us the Salt printing techniques from the early 1800's at the Jo Cornish Gallery. Way back to the beginning of photography and really back to seeing an image appear in front of your eyes on paper rather than the back of a phone or camera. Something magical and mysterious about the whole thing.
David was extremely knowledgeable and had a great way of passing it on with explanations, printed notes and most of all - practical experience.
I also met some like minded people and was very well looked after by the Gallery with good food and coffee.

Spent a May Saturday with a small group learning how to magic up photographic prints on water colour paper using ‘salt, silver and sunlight’.
David’s passion for salt printing resulted in a learning packed day and a great hands on workshop. David has provided an excellent service from start to finish. The process of working through different ideas and concepts with David has been so relaxed and flexible. The photographs he took are creative and highly professional and were exactly what I was hoping for and more. I highly recommend him and shall be using him for all future projects.
