Professionally our experience has been gained predominantly in and around the aerospace, technology and automotive sectors. Our business approach is informal, often unconventional, sometimes irreverent but always aspirational.
Metropolis Entertainment is a world leader in the development, implementation and operation of 3D/4D effects theatres and 4D cinemas. To be precise these theatres create a multi-dimensional experience by integrating a large screen 3D projection with surround sound audio and dynamic motion seats, usually between 20 and 100 seat capacity.
For many years Metropolis has been at the forefront of combining full flight simulator motion with large screen visuals and special effects. Over the years we have applied both 3 DOF and 6 DOF configurations which are either hydraulically or electronically operated. Typically such projects are between 7 and 100 seats, and combine motion with large screen 2D or 3D visuals and effects such as wind, water and aroma.
Metropolis is an accredited sales and service agent for the remarkable Fly 360 interactive flight simulator. We currently own three of these cash generating simulators which are operated in partnership with the London Science Museum and Manchester Museum of Science & Industry. Our engineering staff are factory trained so we also offer full installation, service and support.
Metropolis is an acknowledged expert in the design and development of complete packaged attractions. This extends from initial feasibility and concept studies to liaison with architects, structural engineers and other relevant parties. We work with some of the UK's most talented styling and design teams to ensure that functionality and aesthetics are always in close harmony.
