A warm Irish welcome awaits at a well established 8 bedroom Guest House located at the heart of the city centre. Peterborough is an ancient Cathedral city with an exciting, modern life style offering great choices of places to visit. Perhaps start with a tour of the 12 Century Cathedral.
Then, in Cathedral Square see the Guildhall built in 1671 and St John's medieval church and then enjoy a well earned coffee or a meal in one of the square's many restaurants and cafes. Then perhaps a trip to the museum in nearby Priestgate. Enjoy a day on the river, or visit Ferry Meadows Country Park, travelling on the famous Nene Valley Steam Railway.

Very professional and warm welcome by Host, He asked me what time I would like breakfast not dictate what time breakfast was served too. The room was clean tidy and spacious. Even with a fridge and microwave. Plates, bowls and cutlery to eat take away etc. During breakfast this morning he kept a eye on levels of milk, coffee and orange juice and topped them up when they were getting low. very good service highly recommendable. look forward to staying again. Even the bear in the breakfast room was covid secure.

I would fly 5,394 mi (8680 km) just to stay here with these lovely people once again. They are truly the most warm and hospitable people I have ever met. The breakfast was so good, I still dream about it at night. You couldn’t have a more welcome visit if you were staying with your own family. I can’t say enough good things about this place.

THE POSITIVES OUTWEIGH THE NEGATIVES - this is not the most modern of guesthouses. First off, there is NO parking, currently. However, the proprietor is working with the local council to resolve the situation. There is parking at Dickens Street car park across the road at £4.00 for 24 hours. Kevin, the owner, is such a lovely man. He came to assist me as I was having problems with the system. The bed is so comfy best I have ever had in a hotel/guest house. I booked a single room and got a nice, double bed. The room had a fridge, microwave, kettle, glasses, plates and spoons. There was milk in

Lovely guest house. Friendly, helpful owner who really cares about your time there. Amazing, big breakfast! My room was spacious and clean, and the dishes/glasses, microwave and fridge were a real bonus. Super comfy bed. Free WiFi. Nice and quiet, with lots of character. Don’t pay any mind to the review by a disgruntled past employee. This place is excellent, and I’ll definitely be back.
