Services
Ingliston Cattery and Kennels is a long-established cattery and kennels located just outside of Edinburgh. We have kennels and chalets to house all sizes, shapes and breeds of all cats and dogs. We have facilities for both indoor and outdoor cats. Whether your dog is a Chihuahua or a Great Dane our experienced and dedicated staff will provide the best possible care for them.
Transport of pets is always a challenge for owners without cars or who lead a busy schedule. Now we can collect your pet from your home with our secure pet transport service, saving you precious time when you need it most. The comfort and safety of your pet is our priority. We can also deliver you pet safely home from our kennels and cattery when her stay is over.
We know you love your dogs and that is why we do our utmost to ensure their stay with us is as enjoyable as possible. Our dogs are housed in large individual kennels which are centrally heated throughout with attached covered outdoor runs. We cater for individual dogs and family groups. We supply all beds and bedding.
Where pets have special needs other prices may apply. Prices for day care, long term boarding and commercial boarding are available on request. Our normal opening hours for entries and exits are from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm seven days a week*. If you would like to drop off or pick up your pet outside these hours, please ask about our out of hours service.

This was our dog’s first time in kennels we were a bit anxious about it but the staff were very helpful. They arranged for us to come and have a look at the facility and showed us the kennel our dog would sleep in. They gave us contact details that we could email when we were abroad to see how our dog was doing and were happy for us to check in a few times whilst away. They would always respond very quickly and let you know what the dog has been doing and if they’re eating, drinking and toileting. They also give the dog exercise time and take them walks which our dog loves. We picked her up

I have been boarding my dog here since puppyhood and now he’s 10; not the comforts of home, but he is well cared for and not unhappy to go in, though naturally happier to leave. Importantly, he has fallen seriously ill while there, but they took him to his vet and brought him back all while I was travelling. So I trust the staff and recommend the kennels.

Amazing service! Team remembers my wolfdog each time my wife is phoning to book him in. In addition neither my dog, nor cat are scared or terrified when we come and leave them there. Opposite-Bravo is excited! The location is superb, not too far from Edinburgh city centre and just minutes away from airport. Most of the staff members are the same after a year using these kennels, therefore I am pretty sure that team likes their job and looks after our pets like they would be their own.

I recently boarded my precious Morgan at Ingliston.....what can I say , spotless clean, good sized bedding area and decent outdoor area.....staff very knowledgable, and friendly , my boy had no trouble going with them on his holidays....Morgan was delivered home to me on time , in great condition, ( yes they have a home delivery service too) happy as can be, having been bathed with his nails clipped ....what more can you ask for....I have no hesitation in recommending these kennels and will definitely use them again ....having read some of the negative reviews, I'm so so glad I didn't let them
