Osteopathy is a system of diagnosis and treatment for a variety of musculo-skeletal problems. It works with the structure and function of the body and is based on the principle that the wellbeing of an individual depends on the skeleton, muscles, ligaments and connective tissues functioning smoothly together.
We know that attending your first appointment with an osteopath can be a little disconcerting to begin with, but you can rest assured we will do our utmost to make sure you feel comfortable and at ease. If you do have any other concerns, please contact the practice by phone or email prior to attending your first appointment, and we'll be glad to discuss things with you.
Osteopathy is now accepted by most private health insurers and the practice is recognised by them, including, BUPA, AXAPPP, Simply Health, WPA and Aviva. We can provide receipts for you to claim back some of the cost of your osteopathic treatment.

Prompt action can help your body to heal faster and may prevent further injury or prolonged pain. Strained or 'pulled' muscles often happen when we over exert untrained muscles, train without properly warming up or try to go beyond a joint's natural flexibility.
