Based in Rhyl, on the North Wales coast, we are a small family run company, specialising in the manufacture of made to measure wooden gates, side hung garage doors and general joinery items. We have made our own range of gates and garage doors since 1989, but our experience in carpentry and joinery stretches back much further than this - three generations - and everything we manufacture is still based on this knowledge.

Side hinged timber garage doors, made to measure in a choice of Softwood, Hardwoods and Modified Softwood. Garage door holders fit to the top of the horizontal door frame and the top of the door. As you open the doors, they secure the doors open at 90° - A must have in windy locations. Choose the Junior door holders for single doors up to 6'6 high x 3' wide. For pairs of garage doors, then choose the Wide Lintel or Narrow Stile door holders.

Adjustable hinges are a great choice if you've either never fitted a pair of gates before, as they enable you to make adjustments once the gates are fitted, or you're fitting gates to posts that are out of plumb (level).
Our range of ironmongery for use on Field gates and in Equestrian environments (aka Horsey Hinges!). Field gate hinges are the hinge of choice, as the name implies, for Field gates, as well as the more upmarket Estate gates. In the main, all items are available in Galv for longer life, though the padbolts are also available in Black and Black on Galv.

We ordered 1 pair of standard Conway garage doors with rebated meeting stiles and rebated frame in A1 Grade Accoya and ironmongery pack in black. The doors have been painted, glazed and installed by our contractor. The doors look magnificent and the craftmanship was evident when we received the doors. The supporting information on Gate Expectations website was invaluable to me when ordering. We are delighted with the final doors. Fantastic service - goods delivered really quickly, and were a good price compared to other suppliers I looked at. I ordered adjustable galvanised gate hinges. There were some wrong parts delivered so I got in touch by email and they quickly came back to me and sent the correct bits - again very speedily, and really helpful. Would definitely go to them again.
