We offer a range of treatments for painful foot conditions and provide high-quality foot care to all our patients using our expertise and combined experience of over 36 years. Footworx Podiatry Clinic has been established since 1999 where we began with a small clinic based in a GP surgery in Brackley (Springfield Surgery), since then we have grown.
Banbury Clinic has now closed permanently but our clinic in Chipping Norton Norton Health Centre is open for business. We pride ourselves on a high standard of hygiene and use fully disposable instruments using validated systems and are governed by ISO and UN standards. This ensures tracking of each instrument throughout processing and eliminates the risk of cross infection.

Services
After 20 years it is with much regret that we have to announce that the Banbury clinic will no longer be open. With the cost of PPE and running costs of the clinic we can no longer sustain two sites safely. We will continue to practice in our clinic in Chipping Norton and are happy to see our Banbury patients there.
Corns and calluses are caused by repeated micro trauma or pressure on the skin of your foot. They may occur when bones of the foot press against the shoe or when two foot bones press together. Common sites for corns and calluses are on the big toe and the fifth toe. Calluses underneath the ends of the foot bones (metatarsals) are common.
Fungal nail infections, referred to in medical terms as onychomycosis, occurs when a fungi infects the nails. The infection often originates initially from Athletes foot. Usually the first sign of the nail infection is a white or yellow/brown opaque streak which either appears at one side of the nail or under the tip of your nail.
They can occur anywhere in the feet but are usually located over bony prominences. Excessive pressure and sheering stress causes a tear within the upper layers of the skin (the epidermis), forming a space between the layers while leaving the surface intact. Then fluid seeps into the space. Blisters are usually painful but with conservative care can be managed effectively.
