The Pot Place opened in 2005 and we've worked with lots of lovely gardeners since then. We may have started with just pots but we're now established as a fully-stocked garden centre that still, we hope, keeps a family feel, lots of local connections and a reputation for good value. We have stock that you won't find anywhere else, the time and expertise to answer your gardening questions and some of the best cakes in Cumbria!
Some of us have been here since the beginning, others are recent recruits but we all share an enthusiasm for what we do. From those in the kitchen and Alison, our plants expert, in the polytunnels to the crew working off site on garden buildings and other projects, we're all part of the same team. The clue is in the address - and in the high speed trains passing us on the West Coast mainline.
