A recent trip to Dublin gave Gordon Fleming the opportunity to re-visit our housing project in Ballymun for Dublin City Council. A warm sunny summers day brought out the best of the SUDS pond and the white rendered crescent which surrounds it. Completed in 2014 the new homes for residents of Ballymun being moved out of their tower blocks, the benefits of a mature landscape become immediately apparent.

The ARPL philosophy is to produce buildings to the highest design standards in close consultation with our clients. Our design is both innovative and sympathetic to the immediate and the broader environment in which they are constructed with an emphasis on sustainability. Each project embraces the unique nature of the client's needs and the site.
Services
Over the 40 years since the original practice was established, ARPL's status in the profession has grown steadily in line with its position as a medium sized practice, with a reputation for well executed projects with a particular emphasis conservation and sustainability, and our list of Awards is proof of our achievements.
ARPL have completed a substantial number of residential development projects, both as social housing and private or speculative development. The commissions have often been made following adoption of regeneration strategies we have proposed or as a result of site evaluation with a housing association.
The practice has detailed experience in the conservation field, and in particular with projects to provide new or alternative uses for listed or redundan buildings, including several Scheduled Ancient Monuments. Since the outset of the RIAS and RIBA accreditation schemes, several directors of the practice have been accredited and have taken the lead on all of our conservation projects.
