James S Hislop operates from two sites in the Scottish Borders with one depot in Kelso and the other in Swinton near Duns offering a variety of services including Transport, Storage and Commercial Vehicle Servicing and Repairs. Flat trailers - 13.6m to 21m extender trailers (all fitted with timber posts and twist locks). Bulk tipping trailers (all fitted with electric easy sheet, on-board weighing system and loading and reversing cameras).
We offer specialist transport to the leisure home industry, transporting static caravans and lodges to both private customers and holiday parks. Our complete service includes arranging collection and delivery of the caravan; we organise all police transport movement orders prior to collection, and we can arrange escort vehicles for the safe transportation of all caravans.

Y800 JSH Carlisle M6 junction 43, 06.06 11/07/2018 Driver throwing rubbish out of window - This not only risks the lives of the road workers but also spoils the look of the countryside. I sounded my horn in… protest but driver couldn’t care less and thought it was clever to let me hear his horn was louder. Is this the attitude you want to convey to potential customers?
