Cream* is a licensed Cafe, Bar and Bistro in Minehead Somerset, offering imaginative, quality food and drink. We pride ourselves on our food, drink, service and surroundings. Our coffee is supplied by Voyager, based in Devon. They hand roast our feisty and full-bodied "Trailblaze" blend, delivering weekly to ensure that your coffee is no more than 2 weeks from roaster to cup.
Cream* Baristas are trained at Voyagers academy. As a local business, we pride ourselves on supporting our local producers of fine foods. These include Brendon Hill Crafts who supply us with a selection of jams and chutneys which taste great with our freshly baked bread from Glenmore Bakery. Toms Pies provide us with their award-winning pasties and Justine delivers her home-made cakes weekly.

Service not great. Asked for two cream teas and one slice of 🍰. Took ages to come out as we sat outside. The cake came out first, 15 mins later then the coffee then the scones. We had finished our drinks before scones came out. It wasn't at that time that busy. Service really slow. We could see staff standing around. Not impressed.

Stopped here for lunch today with my partner and our 18 month old. Absolutely delicious food, we had the steak ciabatta which comes with fries, salad and coleslaw; the whole meal was truly delicious. We ordered… a children’s meal too which was a perfect portion size as they offer 1/2 sandwich options, so nothing was wasted and a fair price too. The coffee was of very good quality and the service was pleasant and timely. Definitely recommend and we will visit again, thank you 😊

Very friendly cosy cafe in good location towards the top of The Avenue just as the main shops and banks etc start.
Outside seating if the weather is ok or you are a keen smoker!
Very good coffee, excellent range of savoury snacks and meals plus cakes etc.
Nice selection of local art on the walls for sale.
In my opinion however most of the upholstery has moved well beyond ‘shabby chic’ and is now in the ‘please recover’ me stage of disintegration 😉
Invest a bit and keep on doing what you do very well!
