Services
Burnett 4 Cakes provides high quality cakes made by a professional pastry chef, Chris Burnett. Chris has many years experience in the catering industry. We offer a wide range of cakes and designs at prices to suit your budget. We can make them as simple or as intricate, as light or rich as you wish.
We just wanted to write to say thank you for providing such a lovely cake for our wedding day at Headlam Hall Hotel, it looked and tasted amazing and was exactly how we wanted it. I've attached some photos for you in case you would like to use them in your advertising. Thanks for all your help in helping us choose they style, shape and colours!
We bake a variety of sponge cake flavours including chocolate, chocolate-orange, mint-chocolate, madeira, lemon, salted caramel, carrot, ginger, banana, cherry and red velvet. Prices are estimates as each cake is made to order based on your ideas and themes. Should you require a fruit cake instead of one of our delicious sponges please add an additional 20 to the above guide prices.

As soon as we tasted cake samples at a wedding fayre at our chosen wedding venue we knew we just knew we had to book Burnett 4 Cakes!
Chris was great at communicating with us, we managed to transfer over to our a 3rd and final date which they were able to accommodate thankfully.
We loved our consultation and tasting all the lovely cake once again and picking our design and flavours, it was such a lovely experience to do as a couple together for our wedding.
Chris was Vicki were amazing from start to finish, the cake design and detail was fabulous and just like we had discussed at our meeting

We had attended a few wedding fairs and tried a few cakes from multiple vendors, but always found ourselves drawn back to the Burnett for Cakes stand to try a few more samples.
We met with them at their home to discuss our ideas and requirements and they listened to our suggestions and provided some of their own, helping us to design our amazing wedding cake. They also helped us to understand how much cake we would need for our number of guests, ensuring we had enough but not so much to have loads left over.
They had a great selection of flavours, each of which was amazingly tasty and morish

After being determined I was going to make my own wedding cake (and with no intention of changing my mind) I tasted Burnett 4 Cakes' wedding cake at a wedding fair in 2019 and was totally blown away! The cake won me over - it was one of the most yummy cakes I have ever tasted! We immediately booked them in for our wedding day, and from day 1 they were really lovely to work with, invited us for cake tasting at their home, and were so patient throughout all of the COVID guidance changes. People who received cake agreed that it was one of the loveliest, and most beautifully decorated wedding cakes

After a couple of weeks enjoying the most delicious cupcakes in every possible flavour, we had planned to have a cake made for my daughters Holy Communion on Friday. Unfortunately due to lockdown her day was cancelled but luckily her cake wasn't 😉. It came and it did not disappoint! Fabulous service and the most gorgeous cake was devoured over the weekend with huge smiles and happy tummies 😂

We got our fabulous wedding cake from Chris back in 2012 so I jumped at the chance to purchase some cupcakes for ourselves and our family and friends when I saw them advertising. I also think it's very important to shop local. We tried a few flavours and the Ginger and the Carrot were definitely my favourites. Will definitely buy again.

Chris and Vicki made our amazing wedding cake back in June, we possibly could not recommend them enough! From meeting Chris at a wedding fair until the wedding day the customer serivce was brilliant. We got so many comments about the cake and our guests loved that it was a different flavour for each tier. Even after two weeks our cake was still lovely to eat as it was on the wedding day! Thank you so much for making our beautiful wedding cake!

Chris took us through the full journey in preparation for ordering our wedding cake, and the result was just what we wanted. It was appreciated by all of our guests. A stunningly good cake, both visually and to taste. Extremely good value for money, too. We would fully recommend Chris and Vicki at Burnett4Cakes. (They did all our favours, too! Equally wonderful.)
