Excellent friendly staff ( but senior managers seemed a bit dismissive of Guests?), Food pretty good and accommodation very good. Spa staff helpful but the swimming pool over subscribed during our visit. Make sure that your sink and bath plugs do the job intended but otherwise decent value for money.

We were gifted a nights stay at Moor Hall for two with a meal and drinks for a birthday last year, so when better to use it than the first Saturday of the year!
We wanted to take our son so after a quick phone call it was just £30 to upgrade to a Superior Family Suite, and no extra for dinner or breakfast.
We checked in at 3 which was quick, and on seeing our son, gave him a box of chocolates. Our room was very spacious with two huge beds, so we got changed and went to the spa. We spent the next two hours in their pool which had lots of toys to enjoy.

This was a surprise for my 50th birthday from my husband he booked the room with the hot tub in the room and what can say it was amazing. Staff we so friendly and helpful nothing was to much trouble we had… booked the evening meal in the country kitchen which was 3 course meal soup or salad to start a beautiful carvery for main meal and a lovely selection of puddings. Breakfast again was a buffet style breakfast with everything u needed. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay and making my Birthday special x

Beautiful looking building with amazing scenery, but very old dated inside. Needs a good clean and updating. I paid £246 for the ‘hot tub room’ only. I don’t think this is worth the money for a large room with a big jacuzzi bath & Amazon neon lights above. Very overpriced. Bed was awful, wasn’t comfortable at all, and remote wasn’t working for the tv. Room was cold, windows full of mould & window sills obviously have a damp problem which I think caused the musty smells. There were lady bugs in the room, not fussed about bugs though so left them be! Room service was cold when arrived

Lovely place. Absolutely loved our 1st visit, so decided to return, sadley our second visit wasn't as good.
Firstly evening meal was booked for 17:30. My wife called on several occasions to try and push the timings to the right by 1 hour. We was told this could not happen due to the restaurant been fully booked. When we finished our meal approx 1.5 hours later. it was evident that we could have easily been fitted in for a later timing. Secondly the TV in our room was not working, try to call the reception several times to have no answer. This was reported, was told it was fixed but then later

Came for lunch, greeted by lovely staff on reception who showed us in the right direction. Had a burger and a Caesar salad, burger was amazing nice and hot.. Caesar salad was great value for money and huge!
Couple of bad points nothing major just noticed the toilet area of the lounge was very run down, for example mirror rusting and taps very warned down, and toilets were quite messy with rubbish bags on the floor and toilet rolls left in packaging outside the door on the floor with no cleaners in sight. Bin was over flowing and no hand sanitizer in the station provided.

Absolutely fabulous hotel. Attended a wedding there. Staff were fabulous and never stopped. All ran like clockwork. Special thanks to duty manager Michelle, who looked after me when I unfortunately fell ill during the day. She was wonderful and couldn't do enough to help. A wonderful place and hope to return again. Well done.
