Highland Glen Lodges
Luxury lodge accommodation in the Highlands of Scotland. Centrally located in the mountains of Sutherland with panoramic views of the hills and glen. September and October holidays are starting to fill up so don't delay to get your favourite lodge reserved. If you are planning a holiday in the Highlands, you can ring us at any time to discuss your stay.
Services
The Lodges have been upgraded and are maintained to a high standard. We understand the responsibility of providing our guests with affordable excellence and guarantee that you will have no regrets about coming to our lodges for your holiday. Set on a wooded hillside in the magnificent Sutherland countryside each of the five Lodges has a panoramic view of the glen below and the mountains beyond.
From there you follow Strath Carron to Croik and then on via Strath Oykel to Rosehall and Ravens Rock Gorge walk for a leg stretch before returning via the Falls of shin and a delicious cream tea before watching the salmon leaping at the nearby waterfalls. Within a short drive of the lodges are miles of sandy beaches and interesting lochs and nature reserves.
We want you to have as good a holiday experience as you expect! To that end we are dedicated to providing you with clean, beautifully presented, luxurious accommodation in a fantastic setting. We were very impressed with our lodge (cleanliness, decor & furnishings) and it certainly lives up to the claims of the excellent web site.
How to Find Us. We are centrally located for touring the northern highlands. You can get to the north and west coasts in 2 hours or less or the Inverness area is only about 1 hour from the lodges. Peace and quiet, but still easy to get everywhere!. Highland Glen Lodges are situated half a mile south of the A839 which connects Lairg to the A9.

This is a very difficult review for us as a family to post. We booked this vacation from booking.com and after the booking was made and the monies paid, we received an email. The owner mailed us their own terms and conditions which is quite long and inn their own words they wanted to know who was and was not v a x e d, etc, and they requested we have a lateral flow test prior to visiting. For us, this took the edge of the stay, and with the level of discomfort it made us both feel, we opted out from visiting.

We stayed here during the last week of May. The weather was better than I expected [raining now and then]. The location of the lodges is beautiful and the view from the balcony of the cottage is breathtaking. You can see the mountains in front of you and sheep grazing couple of feet away. We went with my one year old and he enjoyed watching the sheep graze. Adrian and Trudy were extremelly sweet and helped us in every manner possible. The cottage contains all necessary equipment and there is a storage room at the back which consist of an impressive collection of movies and other entertainent stuyff
