Established in 1991, we are one of the longest established Interior Design houses in Derbyshire. The creative direction of the company is drawn from the celebrated designer Lucie-Clare Watson who established her reputation in London, New York and the South of France before moving back to her home county to start a family in the 1990s.
Since then, Watson and Watson's unique blend of style and flair has been sought out by those with traditional country Houses looking to celebrate and amplify the beauty of their properties. Lucie-Clare's sympathetic interpretation of clients' needs, coupled with her natural vision, enable her to transform initial ideas into the finished picture.

Services
Some 25 years ago two young mums got together and came up with the bright idea of selling other people's well-made curtains when they moved house or changed styles. The Curtain Exchange was born and has continued to thrive, now boasting six branches nationwide. It really does make sense. How many of us store gorgeous interlined curtains under beds and in cupboards just because we have moved and they don't fit any more?
We will only take curtains of exceptional quality, we cannot accept those that are faded, stained or in poor repair. In some cases minor or slight discolouration on the linings will be accepted as long as the main fabric is untouched. Curtains that are smoke damaged by either smoke or cigarette smoke will not be accepted.
Articles remain the Customer's property until sold or otherwise disposed of by The Curtain Exchange in accordance with (2) below. Articles are deposited for a maximum of six months ("the period of deposit") unless otherwise sold or collected by the end of the period of deposit.
After this time the Curtain Exchange may dispose of articles to charity or otherwise, without prior notice or any payment to the Customer, and all claims thereto by the Customer shall cease at the end of the period of deposit.During the period of deposit, the Curtain Exchange shall offer articles for sale to potential purchasers.

Complete renovations require an early visit, preferably pre-architect. By approaching a project at this phase it is possible to minimise any problems that could occur further along in the planning stage. A solid team creates the best finish, the Watson and Watson team will work alongside either your existing craftsmen or we can bring in our own specialist team.
