Since we began in 1999 we have treated over twenty-five thousand patients and gained a reputation as one of Northern Ireland's leading orthodontic practices. We offer a wide range of treatments that help adults and children overcome dental irregularities. The right treatment plan, coupled with our expertise can lead to an amazing aesthetic result, with clear evidence pointing to increased patient confidence and self-esteem.

Our practice has three fully qualified and experienced orthodontists. Paul, Grainne and John-Mark have trained extensively and passed the appropriate Royal College of Surgeons examinations. These higher qualifications set our orthodontists apart as registered specialists within dentistry. Adrienne, our practice manager, has been with us for sixteen years and is key to the smooth running of Belmont Orthodontics.

Excellent dental care, unfortunately recent location change from Newtonards to Belfast makes it very inconvenient for us to travel to. Also when treatment started we were able to book appointments on Fridays, this is no longer an option so I now have to take time off work for my child's appointments.

I don't usually write reviews but felt I had to for here as the staff are very genuine and friendly, I felt comfortable and was well informed by Dr. McCartan during a thorough consultation which set clear expectations and steps for the procedure.

Had a consultation in 2018. Wasnt too long in the waiting room but when brought upstairs there were no private rooms, only three chairs separately by narrow floor to wall shutters. It was incredibly uncomfortable getting photos taken which included the use of a square (read sharp) mirror that cut my gums. They quoted £3k for a year and a half for Invisalign which simply was too long and too expensive. I went elsewhere for my treatment that was six months and cost way less.

Marvellous clinic and orthodontist, Dr. Clifford. I had my teeth fixed or done (whatever way you want to put it) over 10 years ago. Didn't wear my retainer, but I still have excellent results a decade later, however I went back to see about getting a minor correction done (paid for by myself of course, not the NHS). Excited to get it done. Highly recommended and wouldn't go anywhere else.
