Services
Established in 2004, we are West Lothian's largest podiatry clinic providing clinically advanced care from routine foot care to more specialised biomechanical assessments and orthotics. Our team consists of 8 dedicated podiatrists, all with our own area of expertise and interests. All of our podiatrists are registered with the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC).
After qualifying from Queen Margaret University in 2000, Pamela continued her interest in sports injuries and biomechanics by obtaining an MSc in Sports Medicine from Glasgow University in 2001. Following on from establishing Instep Podiatry in 2004, she combines both clinical work and management duties and continues to develop and support the practitioners.
Includes an initial assessment of your foot structure and identifies any parts of the feet which may become problematic. You will be advised as to whether continued routine footcare is the best treatment plan for your feet. Verrucae are one of the most common foot problems among children and adults.
Biomechanics describes the way in which the skeleton is aligned and what effect it has on the surrounding soft tissues such as ligaments, tendons, and muscles. Podiatrists are trained to examine the lower limb to assess whether the position of the feet is causing an alignment problem within the body.
In some cases, attempts to resolve 'ingrown' toenails are not successful ie if the nail bed has been damaged or if your nail is shaped wrongly. Therefore you may be advised that nail surgery is necessary to resolve your nail problem. This is a short procedure using a local anaesthetic and you will be advised as to whether you require the whole or part of the nail removed.

Very informative and friendly podiatrist 🦶. Have never really spent a lot of time looking after my feet in the past, but after my visit to the podiatrist I’d def make a point of giving my feet 🦶 a good MOT a couple of times a year!

My first visit today with Kyle, very informative and knowledgable in regards to the issues and injuries giving me problems. I learned more in one visit than I did numerous trips to my GP. Highly professional & recommended. Thanks again.
