Pennine Cycles
We are still open and adhering to health and safety guidelines plus, of course, we will keep monitoring the situation. Please don't visit us if you feel unwell. Bicycle shops are able to stay open as we are able to support essential workers with their transport needs, especially for quick repairs & maintenance plus any additional equipment required.

This is rapidly changing and we will update you if there are any further changes. Riding your bike has never been more crucial, whether it's to stay isolated on your commute or for your daily exercise under these new guidelines. Paul was welcoming, informative, friendly, and most of all he didn't pressure me into purchasing anything.
Services
For the coldest of winter rides, the Le Col Hors Categorie Deep Winter Gloves aim to offer warmth without excess bulk. Using windproof and thermal fleeced materials, this glove protects from the cold, whilst a DWR coating affords you water resistance. Silicone grippers over the palm ensure good grip whilst a microfibre suede nose wipe over the back of the thumb offers further functionality.
Infini Lava Twin Pack Micro USB Front and Rear Lights Black feature a micro USB rechargeable Lithium-ion polymer battery, giving you up to seven hours of visibility. The three distinct lights modes of constant high, constant low and flashing on the front and normal, flashing or chasing on the back mean there is a setting here to match any condition.
Pennine Cycles are proud to make our steel, handbuilt Pennine road frames at our premises, located in Bradford, West Yorkshire, UK. Every frame is custom-made to each customers individual specification and there are lots of additions which can be made to make your bike unique. All of our frames are made with either Columbus or Reynolds steel tubing.

Paul fixed my seized pedal at very short notice tonight. A service beyond what would ordinarily be expected. A pleasure too chatting with a real enthusiast. Thanks. Will make a point of calling on his expertise in the future but with better notice next time.

Terrible company. Attitude stinks with very poor customer service skills won't repair anything that isn't bought from them directly... can't even get the basic customer service skills right so i wouldn't trust them with my bike! Wouldn't recommend to my worst enemy.

Despite living over 100 miles away, I keep coming back to Pennine Cycles. I cannot fault the customer service at all. The advice and expertise is second to none, and I trust the judgement of Paul to recommend the correct equipment or clothing. Cannot recommend highly enough.

This a bad place i won't recommend this to anyone. My bike was bought at another shop they didn't even bother to look at it properly. I told them i had a wobbly wheel and they just said how old is this bike u should go to the place u bought it from. They said bike rear needs replacing but it was the axel that needed replacing What is the point of this shop it doesnt repair bikes. Do not go here go halfords they are ten times better

Wish I read the reviews before I went here today. So many negatives just like my experience. Guy told me “I don’t fix brakes on bikes like that” your a bike shop and unwilling to fix a brake on a bike oh please.

I Was thinking wheather or not to review for pennine cycles or rather to try forget about the bad experinces i had there. Instead of just forgetting though i think it will help the business more by giving constructive customer feed back which is what they really need and i want to help as it is a local shop in the end.
There is a very long story behined this review.
Work on customer service skills.
Dont tell and make up lies.
If you cant achieve a deadline let the customer know either way.
Show repect to everyone and tgey will respect you.
Work on customer service skills again...
I wont

Paul managed to squeeze my bike in for a full service 2 days before I was due to complete a 100 mile charity cycle ride. Last minute planning on my part but he was extremely helpful and the work on the gears made a massive difference during the ride. Many thanks Paul.

75 pounds for removing a cassete, a broken chain and for truing my rear wheel!!! Really really arrogant especially if you don't own a bike that costs more than 1000 pounds... I tried to go local instead of Halfords or something huge but regrettably I made the wrong choice. Oh and if you choose to fix your bike there please be clear about what you want to fix because this guy will replace anything he things (or is indeed faulty but not causing any harm) without letting you know and then ask for more money! Although to be fair, he does know about bikes, I would trust him eyes closed to fix my bike

Went in for a visit today after purchasing a very old frame of theirs before they were re named Pennine cycles and I was looking for information about the bike. Paul and his partner were excellent. Coffee… through the door and chatted all things bike. As a proper bike shop should be! Excellent knowledge by both and if I didn't work in the trade myself I would be extremily happy to come to them for anything bike related. In short if your in the area or not.. If your after a proper bike shop owned by honest enthusiastic cyclists then this is your place! Thank again!

Visited today with my Dad after he buckled his wheel on a pot hole on Thornton Road. Paul and Sandra provided us with an excellent service and are extremely friendly and knowledgeable of everything bicycle… related. I would definitely recommend them and so would my dad, so much so that he is now going to take his bike back know for a full service.

Incredibly helpful and caring to me after another shop let me down last minute on a Yorkshire cycle jersey (for a present). Pennine Cycles went above and beyond to help me and I’m truly grateful. Would definitely recommend! (And the present was very well received!!) Thanks again guys!
