We are based in Partridge Green, West Sussex. We cover most of the South East area including London. My name is Karlis Elmanis and I am the founder of Creative Metal Design Ltd.
I have 19 years of experience designing and building bespoke metalwork projects. I started my own business after recognising a niche in the market for high quality hand built gates that would be designed from the ground up integrating gate automation, access control devices and required safety elements to meet the industry regulations.

We are delighted with the bespoke wrought-iron driveway gates which Karlis, personally, manufactured and installed for us together with our chosen automation systems having previously arranged for an experienced bricklayer to build the supporting piers.
We design and hand build every metal gate individually to suit your property and budget. No property is the same, so why should gates be!? Automatic wrought iron gates are paired with the most suitable electric motor at the design stage. There are three motor types to consider first is, Arm motors, second is Articulated arm motors and most common, reliable and aesthetically pleasing is underground motors.
Sliding gates are preferred choice for the limited space driveways and difficult access roads on the back of the property. We build our sliding gates in metal or in a metal and wood combination for those customers who prefer a more private entrance.
Our sliding gates are designed and built to be, very quiet, safe and compliant with current safety regulations as well as aesthetically pleasing from both sides making your property look smart inside and out.

We build our Wooden gates with steel or stainless steel frames for durability and easy maintenance. Wooden boards are custom cut to fit precisely in metal frames and are fixed with stainless steel fixings to avoid rust marks on your timber gate. Wooden gates can be manual or with an electric opener.
We are one of a few companies in South East of England that offer our clients complete in house service. We design, build and install our gates, automation and intercom systems as well as perform annual maintenance, repairs and servicing. We choose to recommend a 24v underground automation system. 24v underground automation systems are efficient, reliable, robust, elegant and up to date with integrated safety features.
