Hidden away at the end of a quiet country lane, The Nurseries Caravan Park is a secluded, friendly site set in a beautiful semi-rural location. We are only minutes away from Alford, Sutton on Sea, Chapel St Leonards and the unspoilt Lincolnshire Coast. Whatever you choose to do The Nurseries offers the perfect location for relaxing and exploring.
The Nurseries is a relaxing and peaceful, family run site exclusively for adults. Our well cared for site features 30 pitches suitable for caravans and motor homes alike with plenty of space for awnings. Our tariffs are both reasonable and simple with no hidden extras and the site facilities are all available free of charge.

Services
Karl and Dianne bought The Nurseries in 2009. Once a plant nursery that supplied the local area with a wealth of fresh produce, after years of neglect the site had fallen into disrepair. Being keen caravaners themselves it soon became clear The Nurseries would make an ideal site. Since then they have not settled for just a maintenance programme but continually work to improve the facilities and site for visitors.
The Nurseries has separate Ladies and Gentlemen's toilet facilities each including 2 shower units of which one is disabled friendly. The facilities block also hosts a washer and dryer (chargeable), freezer for ice packs etc and a food preparation area which includes a sink with hot and cold running water.
Our caravan park is found at the end of Coots Lane on the edge of the village of Mumby nestled between the Lincolnshire Wolds and the Coast. If you are following a Sat Nav, when you get to Ulceby Cross it will take you on single track back roads, you are best to come into Alford on the A1104 and then pick up the A1111 into Bilsby Turn onto the Thurlby Road B1149 and keep on this road until you join up with the A52 which will bring you into Mumby.

Fantastic site and friendly owners who are really happy to help. Arrival smooth and coffee/tea with cake very welcome after a long drive. Pitch was immaculate and flat. Easy to connect to water and drain and awning on artificial grass. Small shop that is well stocked for when you run out of essentials. Within easy reach of beaches where you can let your dog have a good run and a 3 mile walk around the farmland area starting and finishing at the site to round off the day.
Shower and toilet facilities are so clean and plenty of hot water. There is availability for washing should you need it and

Probably the best site we have stayed on! Run by really nice people and excellent layout on this site. The pitches are what you would want if you could design your own. It obvious the owners are caravanners themselves and have set out with what has obviously been a lot of hard work to create a first class site. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay albeit it was a short one. Many thanks.

What can I say about those site. It’s absolutely amazing and so quiet. You are greeted by the very friendly owners who are alway around if you needs them but not overbearing in any way,. The pitches are huge and very well kept. One of the best things about the Nurseries is the cabin that is full of information of places to visit, any essentials you might need and best of all they do a wonderful cooked breakfast, bacon/sausage sandwich etc on a weekend that will fill you up for the day. There’s a great dog walk just through the gate that’s very safe as it’s well away from any roads.

This is such a fantastic site. We have always had a very warm welcome from Dianne and Karl, also Geoff is always willing to help you out if you have any difficulties or questions. The pitches are the biggest we have ever had on any campsite we have visited and the campsite is always spotlessly clean. The breakfast at the weekend is definately a must, absolutely delicious. We highly recommend this site and will continue to return time after time. A little gem of a site.

We have stayed on this site on numerous occasions we love that it's adult only, very spacious, very clean and tidy, the showers are excellent too.
Dianne, Karl and Geoff are the best receiving cake and tea on arrival and lovely fresh home cooked breakfast on a Saturday and Sunday mornings.
Great walks for the dogs.
We feel at home here :)

This is a brilliant site . We have been returning here for many years, along with friends. We love the way you are made to feel so welcome on arrival, Diannes cakes are to die for,as are her breakfasts! The pitches are really well spaced and larger than average , all fully serviced. The site, showers, toilets and of course the cabin are always kept lovely and clean. We look forward to staying there again at the end of August . See you all soon

The Nurseries Caravan site is a hidden gem! Beautifully kept by Dianne & Karl & Geoff their warden. The field is like a bowling green lovely & flat & plenty of space between pitches. The owners are very friendly & cake & tea on arrival, lovely reception area & cafe where Dianne serves breakfast at the weekend. Dianne & Karl are caravaners themselves, so pride themselves on giving their customers the experience that they would want. Everything you want is there lovely clean shower block, laundry room, cabin with an essential larder, homemade take away meals, nothing is too much trouble for them

A brilliant site adjacent to a farm, and accessed through the farm.
When I stayed flies were annoying but they were at my home town as well, so that can not be blamed on the site.
Toilets were cleaned regularly, so we’re the showers. Some people think it is their right to leave toilets and showers in a disgusting state, but once the owners were informed they sprung into action and re-cleaned them.
Pitches are the most spacious of any site I have seen, the hosts are fantastic, being greeted on arrival with tea and cakes.
Great mix of people on the sight, it’s an adult site with couples of
