Northwich Dance
Please note we will not be taking on any new pupils over the next few months, as we will be concentrating on resurrecting pre-existing classes. We offer classes to adults covering a variety of dance styles including Ballroom & Latin, Salsa, Rock 'n' Roll, Argentine Tango and Latin Line dancing, from absolute beginners to the more advanced dancer.

All our adult classes are for the social dancer and we strive to provide a relaxed, informal atmosphere throughout. Our pupils have the opportunity to work towards taking medals at our sessions held twice a year. These are independently examined by a representative of the IDTA*. Please browse our website for further information and do not hesitate to contact us if you require any further information.
Services
Northwich Dance Company was established early in 2003 by Amanda Kirby, a qualified dance teacher with the International Dance Teachers' Association (IDTA)*. Amanda started dancing at the age of 10 around the time when 'disco fever' took the UK by storm. She very quickly got the dancing bug and collected many medals and trophies for Ballroom, Latin American and Freestyle (Disco).
Please note we will not be taking on any new pupils over the next few months, as we will be concentrating on resurrecting pre-existing classes. We run a busy and varied schedule of classes (see below) and we always try to offer 'something different' as well as meeting the needs of dancers - both new and experienced.
If you have something very specific that you'd like to learn, then we are able to offer private lessons at 40/hr*. Please contact us for availability. Whether it's a traditional Waltz, a tantalising Tango or a sexy Salsa, anything goes for wedding dances! You could try joining one of our classes to learn a basic routine and we could help personalise your dance with a couple of private lessons.
We all had such a great night - the photos say it all! A very well attended event again, the dancefloor was busy all night! Our "Guess the name of the monkey fundraiser", won by John from our 8pm Thursday class, made a fabulous 250 for the British Heart Foundation too. All in all, a truly heartwarming night!

They seemed like a friendly bunch but beware; no drop-ins and I was told I couldn’t join because I didn’t start in Janruary (9 months ago) ... looking at the website, the implication is there are other classes you couldn’t join as thy started in Jan 2015. So I can’t really give a school that is so seemingly impossible to join much of a score. I guess I’ll keep looking.
