Foxfield Garden Centre is a family run business established in 1989. Back in those days we were a heather and conifer specialist, but as time has gone on and fashions in plants have changed we have broadened the range of plants that we stock and grow. At Foxfield Garden Centre we are noted for the quality and value of the plants but also for the wide variety and range of items we stock.
Visitors to the Garden Centre will see everything well laid out and labelled, with the labels displaying a variety of information including; the height, growth and conditions the plant needs, so you can tell exactly where to plant it. In addition to the plants we have all the composts, chemicals and fertilisers that you will need to keep your garden looking its best.

Established in 1989, we are an independent family run garden centre and nursery situated on the edge of the beautiful lake district in south west Cumbria. For nearly 20 years, we have been providing beautifully grown plants to gardens all across the surrounding area.

Here at Foxfield Garden Centre we have a wealth of information on all the plants in stock as well as extensive knowledge of what will work well in the local area. We want you to have the ease of being able to shop online but also to feel that if you are unsure about what to choose for your garden, you can still drop in and have a chat with our experienced staff.
Any order placed online will be delivered as detailed in our Terms & Conditions. If you visit the garden centre then delivery is still a possibility. If you are purchasing/ordering a large amount of plants including trees and compost we may be able to deliver subject to date and times. If I could give 0 stars I would do. I purchased a plant online almost two months ago, emailed twice and then was forced to make a claim via PayPal to get my money back from this "legitimate" garden centre. Do not bother to order anything from them because they lack in basic customer care and common decency. The post COVID situation will be tough on companies so it is rather amusing to me this one seems to show their true colours when given almost two months to come up with an excuse or the goods and not bothering to do so.

I have been buying from this Garden Centre for years. It is one of the most beautifully kept nurseries around and a pleasure to visit. The plants are well grown, very healthy and extremely good value. There is always a good selection available.Staff are always friendly, knowledgeable and extremely helpful. I could happily spend a fortune here buying everything for the garden.... Highly recommended.
