Castle Framing Fine Arts is a well established, family run business which started out in 1998 in a small side street of Brampton, Cumbria. We initially traded as Studio 2000 and soon expanded the business to take over 4 stalls in Carlisle Market.
As a result, the small premises we occupied could not cope with the amount of work coming in from individual customers and the contract framing sector, so we took on an industrial unit in Carlisle to allow us to make our own stock frames. Our customer base continued to grow and created a need for even larger operational premises where we could consolidate everything under one roof including our own large workshop and retail shop front.

Although based upon a real view from Casterigg near Keswick, this is really about my memory of the view. As always, I like to put a little spin into my work so I introduced a little peak of the sun itself to act as a spotlight on the distant fields. 60 x 50 cm - A Limited Edition Giclee Print of /50 - Uk Postage is included.
A selection of pictures by some of the best artists in the country. We are very fortunate to be able offer work by artists who manage to capture the essence of the animals which they painting draw. There are Tigers and mice, Herdwick sheep and Red deer stags, why not have a browse and see the rest of the animals and birds too.
We are proud to be working with some very talented artists, whose sought after work will continue to grow in stature and value in the years to come. All of the current artists are from Cumbria and the surrounding areas and we will be adding more artists from these areas over the coming months and years.
A love of both photography and the Lakeland fells are Pete's motivation and inspiration for making images. Successful landscape photography is all about patience and light. Whilst we can't necessarily predict light quality, half the battle is simply being there with a camera when conditions look promising.
