We are a friendly and professional local dog grooming service providing bathing, styling and nail cutting. We are based near Bridport town centre. If your dog is young, aged, physically compromised or simply an anxious soul - we can design a groom plan to make their experience easier and more enjoyable.

Your pets welfare will always be at the heart of our service. You can leave your dog with us and pop into town, or you are welcome to stay for the groom. We are open Monday - Friday from 9.30am, and on Saturdays by appointment only. A pick up service is available and we can on occasion do home grooms if required.

About Us Report

Hello, my name is Sally Peters and I am a partner at Buddies. In 2013, I decided that life was too short not to follow your dream. So, after 25 years in elderly care management, I enrolled to study the City and Guilds Level 3 Diploma in Dog Grooming. Training was was intensive but great fun and being trained by Master Groomers certainly gave me a solid grounding in all aspects of pet grooming.

We took our 9 year old Border Collie in to be washed, blow dried and styled. WOW, she came back looking amazing and smelt lovely. Buddies managed to fit us in at very short notice which was good as we were let down by another dog groomer. She will definitely be going back... 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Charlie went today and Bee was absolutely fantastic with him. He hasn’t had a proper groom for a while so she had her work cut out but he has come home looking so much better and younger looking . Can’t wait to take him and Alfie back again.

Bee did a brilliant job hand stripping Rufus. Oscar is just tidied as he has a different coat. She is so patient & caring & the dogs just love her. They are caring groomers & I know Rufus & Oscar are in good hands. They just love their sessions at Buddies.
