Unlocking is often confused with the process of re-activating a 'blocked' or 'barred' phone - when a phone has been reported lost or stolen. Although IMEI unlocks are more costly, they are permanent, pose no risk to your data, and do not affect your phone's warranty. During the processing time, you keep hold of your device, and the unlock is simply 'sent' to your phone, like a text message.

Got my phone fixed twice here. first i got the screen fixed as it was not turning on but the sound still worked. my phone worked afterwards and i thought everything was fixed. i then got my charging port cleaned as it was not charging. once again i thought everything was fixed. i went to a different city and my charging port broke again. i took it to a different repair shop and they told me that inside my phone the motherboard was damaged, the microphone damaged and more i can't remember. they said it was from the previous repairs done. it led to me having to by an entire new phone due to

I had my MacBook keyboard replaced here and initially I could not recommend them enough.
However just under 6 months later a fault has developed with the replacement part due to the quality. iRepair are refusing to resolve the issue, despite it being within their own 'warranty' and covered under consumer rights.
I will not be recommending or returning again. Report now submitted to trading standards for review.

Brought iPhone 6 in for a battery replacement and was offered 6 month warranty as they could find 'no evidence' of the phone being previously repaired or any water damage (because it hasn't, and there isn't)

2 days later the battery acts up again and in the process of "fixing" it they completely break the phone and suddenly claim it had 'obviously' been repaired before. Tried to send me out of the store with a completely non-functional phone (which had been functional when handed over, just needed a lot of charging)

Was in here a couple of times last week for a couple of reasons; one was to buy myself a new iPhone cover and the other because Colin's phone was smashed beyond repair and apple wanted £150 to repair it. Unfortunately it wasn't much cheaper in here because of the severity of the damage, so he just got himself an iPhone 5 instead. Because that made sense.
