Services
As with all environments with groups of individuals there is a risk of your child picking up coughs, colds and other minor illnesses from their peers. In order to maintain a healthy environment we ask that if your child is unwell they should be kept at home. Minor coughs and colds will not exclude attendance at nursery, as long as the child is well enough to cope with the nursery day.
Calculations are based on 5 days per week, 38 weeks term time and 12 weeks school holidays, a total of 50 weeks. Totals are then divided by 52 to give a regular weekly payment figure. Please note that our fees are calculated based on a whole year attendance. Should your child leave the setting in-year, the fees will be recalculated for the weeks on roll and you may be asked to pay an additional amount.
To ensure effective communication between home and nursery, we are always available to discuss your child's needs and any queries that you have. We take the children on a wide range of trips and appropriate clothing/footwear is essential to ensure children are able to play and explore. Please dress your child in clothes that you do not mind getting dirty or messy due to the wide range of activities we offer it is best to wear old clothes.
As with all registered childcare centres we have to undergo regular inspections by Ofsted. We are proud of our achievements and have copied the report here for you to read. Staff form strong relationships with parents and therefore, they contribute and engage well in children's learning. This partnership securely promotes children's individual needs.
We follow Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Framework which is defined by the early learning goals. In both small and large groups children are encouraged to extend their vocabulary and fluency by talking & listening and by hearing & responding to stories, songs and rhymes.
Children are helped to understand that written symbols carry meaning, to be aware of the purpose of writing and, when they are ready, to use drawn and written symbols for themselves.A well-stocked book corner gives every child the opportunity and encouragement to become familiar with books including handling them and making them aware of their uses, both for reference and as a source of stories and pictures.

Amazing service, my child started going in 2015, and it was just a lovely home from home experience. The staff are amazing, and helpful my second daughter started in 2017 and with her additional needs have been consistent in her care as well as communicating brilliantly and listening! My youngest daughter will start in December!

Words cannot describe how grateful I am to every single member of staff here. My son is "delayed" and having investigations into why, but since he started here he has completely changed. His development has come on ten fold and is just so happy. Whilst being a fussy eater at home, he has multiple portions of the food there and they're beautifully healthy and well balance meals. I'm kept in the loop well regarding his development and I cannot thank them enough. The manageress is kind and very commited to giving the best to the children in her care and what Impressed me the most is that she is 100

The breakfast club and after school club give the nursery children a chance to mix with other age groups and prepares them for school later on. The staff are great and really do work hard with the kids so they must have the patience of a saint tucked away in there. When weather permits the children get to go out on regular trips. Our grandson has progressed in leaps and bounds since going to Phoenix. Can't praise them highly enough.

An amazing friendly environment and understanding staff. They work with the parent to achieve the best for their child taking everything into consideration from toilet training to fussy eaters. They work hard to make sure children are reaching new goals within the Early Years Foundation Stage framework and spend time out of the establishment on every occasion the weather allows, with trips to the zoo or the park etc. I sent my oldest son here and now he has started school he is excelling, which I partly believe is due to excellent early education. I will be sending my youngest son to this nursery
