For some shoots I will do either studio or location/home shoots (only pregnancy photo shoots are exclusively taken in the studio in West London). If you are not sure what type you would prefer please do ask for advice. Susan has done an incredible job with my maternity photos. She is uniquely talented and is able to create real pieces of art.
If you are after a truly magical experience giving you a stunning set of high fashion maternity portraits that no one else will have, the parachute dress is perfect for you. The dress has been hand made exclusively for my me by the amazing Alice Andrews Design over in the US. I have admired her dresses for years and so commissioned a piece by her this winter.
I have beeen wanting to make more of my outdoor maternity shoots for a while now as I just love the colours and compositions you can get when outdoors but the maternity shoot is something I generally do in the studio. So when I descovered Alice Andrews Design and did a further search for maternity shoots using parachute dresses I was thrilled to see that as far as I am aware there is no one doing these shoots currently.
Given the very nature of a newborn, the best and smallest time for a newborn shoot is any time upto 6 weeks of age although they are at their smallest at around 5-10 days. They grow quickly and start to straighten out, so the longer you leave it the less able to curl them up in the foetal position they become.

My boyfriend and I recently had a maternity shoot with Susan. From the time my boyfriend and I entered her studio we was made to feel very welcomed and comfortable. Even though I was extremely shy and nervous, Susan was able to capture beautiful shots of my boyfriend and I. I love her unique style and her materials used in my session are stunning. Susan has done an incredible job with my maternity photos. She is uniquely talented and is able to create real pieces of art. We could not resist and did a newborn photo shoot with her as well and ordered albums for both sessions. We are so grateful she immortalised those two special family moments.
My husband was initially a bit sceptical but then when he came to the shoot he really enjoyed it and when he saw the photos he told all his friends he was so glad we did it.

We had a newborn photo shoot in the studio with Susan and our two older children. We were a little apprehensive how our toddler would cope with the photo shoot but Susan was brilliant at engaging him and the whole experience was effortless. We're very happy with the images and would definitely consider getting family photos taken with Susan in the future.

First of all, if you are going to invest into maternity photoshoot - don't hesitate - just do it ! And Susan is the best when it comes to putting you at easy and making you feel sexy and comfortable in front of the camera. Her studio is beautiful, it feels calm and relaxing, even tea cups are gorgeous!
I had so much fun doing the photoshoot and I absolutely LOVED the photos - ordered a few extra - just couldn't resist.
So bottom line - embrace your pregnancy and do it in style with Susan, she doesn't know it yet, but I am definitely booking her to do my new-born shoot too:)

I have been looking for an extra large scarf for a long time. They seem hard to find and terribly expensive. But today I lucked out and purchased an extra large forget me knot scarf. I am absolutely thrilled. it is absolutely exquisite and beautifully made and good quality silk. I wish I could buy all of them, they look amazing with dress up/ down casual and event pieces. I am going to float around in all my outfits with my lovely scarf, to show my friends. When they see it, they will also want to buy one too, Thank you Susan!

Such a fantastic experience! I came with my husband and my two-year-old boy for maternity photoshoot. We felt very comfortable and relaxed at the studio, especially my boy who enjoyed playing in the garden. Susan was very helpful to advise me on what clothes I should get for my boys, and this made the preparation process much easier. Loved all materials, I felt very comfortable at the photo shoot. Stunning photos!
