Moss Side Nursery in Stalmine is an Over-Wyre Nursery which caters for children aged 9 months to 5 years. We have a dedicated team working closely together to inspire and motivate our children through a superb range of activities. The team consists of Early Years Professionals, with the rest of the team who are qualified to at least a level three or working towards it.
All are experienced in delivering the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum and committed to promoting the well-being of each child in our care. The Manager uses her professional development opportunities to create a very special environment for the children. Laura has introduced Forest School which provides endless opportunities to nurture through nature and promote children's resilience and independence.

Services
My husband and I founded Moss Side Nursery in 1989 and I have worked here in some capacity ever since, only diversifying with a little bit of inspection work ( to keep the nursery up to speed) and teaching French and German in my spare time, my original passion before discovering the appeal of the early years!
Our amazing children and families have been busy collecting natural objects to create this most fantastic bug hotel. We will continue to add different materials to make a cosy home for the creatures in our garden. The children had so much fun creating the bug hotel that they worked together to make one inside for our toy minibeasts, what wonderful teamwork!

My baby has been a couple of times and been bitten on the face by another child. the staff are not watching the children properly for this to happen on the face. my baby is 17 month old. was told they get prepared meals to eat. not a butty for there t before he gets collected at 6. he comes home starving. would not reccomend it to anyone. the staff are more concerned about watching the clock over the babies.
