Grants Accountants & Tax Advisors are based in Glasgow, but have clients throughout the UK. The firm provides accountancy, tax and related financial assistance to small and medium sized businesses. The firm has two trading divisions, one dealing with general business clients and the other dealing with contractor clients.

Most of our clients require support during the year and, therefore, decide to use our start-up service along with either our Gold Service or Platinum Plus Service. Although we don't like to generalise, the type of client who uses our Platinum Plus Service (PPS) is the individual who doesn't have the time (or in some cases the inclination) to deal with book-keeping and administration matters.
Some of our clients like us to carry out what we sometimes call our "all in one" service which means: we act as bookkeeper; prepare VAT returns; maintain Book-keeping and VATpayroll records and sometimes prepare management accounts. This can be very cost effective for clients since it means they do not have to employ a bookkeeper and secondly, it cuts down costs in connection with preparation of year end accounts.
The business was established in 1985, so we have already celebrated our silver wedding anniversary and hopefully many more years to go! The business name was changed to GRANTS a few years ago. Our Managing Director - Al Grant - took this decision mainly for personal reasons so that in his words "it would make my late parents very proud".
