We're a friendly, hardworking team led by surveyors who've been damp proofing London for 20 years. If your home shows signs of damp, you already know how unsightly the problem can be. But damp frequently gives rise to mould, which in turn can affect your respiratory and immune systems. And if left untreated, damp always becomes more severe, eventually causing damage to the structure of your property and lowering its value.
A lot can be done to deal with damp. With prompt diagnosis and treatment, the underlying causes can be addressed and structural damage repaired. When you first notice you've got a damp problem, that's the right time to take action and call a damp proofing London. Damp is the result of environmental and structural factors.

Services
London Damp Proofing Company have been providing Damp proofing services since 1995. Here are some of our frequently asked questions, that will help you identify what type of damp problem may be in your property. As we've mentioned elsewhere in this website, most damp problems can be reduced to three conditions: condensation, rising damp and penetrating damp.
Damp is a common problem in properties across London, and at some point, we are confident that you will live in a property that may have a damp related problem. If untreated, damp can be extremely damaging to the structure and fabric of your home. All of our projects that have been completed have been carefully planned with a qualified surveyor's approval and undertaken using only approved damp proofing materials.
Last year, London Damp Company protected hundreds of homes in Central, South and West London. I knew we had a damp problem because all the signs were there, but I was reluctant to call in a surveyor. Rising damp seemed like such a huge thing to put right, and I'd heard all sorts of stories about it being a myth.

Under NO circumstances should you use this company. Incorrectly tanked my bedroom in 2016 and didn't even complete the job. No response to any of my emails or phone calls and the insurance 'guarantee' they provided was not worth the paper it is written on. Company owner largely stoned and incoherent when on site. Now having to get their shoddy work ripped out at great cost and redone by a reputable company. See attached photo. AVOID.

Do NOT use this company. I'm sorry that I did. They did a poor job last October. Damp had already returned by December. To be fair they supposedly came to fix that in December but the damp returned there and in many other places by early May. It took them over a month to come and inspect the property (including one morning where they didn't turn up at all). The person who finally came said the original workman had been fired. He agreed the job had not been completed properly (chunks of wall under the stairs had not even been touched!). And he agreed the work that had been had not been done well
