Cumloden Manor is an attractive purpose-built care home set amid picturesque greenery in Old Minnigaff, Newton Stewart, in the heart of 'Bonnie Galloway.' The home is owned by Caroll Pagan and was registered in 1988 to provide a high standard of care for the elderly. However, Cumloden Manor also caters for younger, physically disabled clients and offers convalescence and respite care.

Our fully trained nurses, senior carers and carers are on duty throughout the day and night to ensure that our residents receive an excellent quality of care, delivered in an efficient and unobtrusive manner, respecting privacy and dignity at all times. A full range of visiting professionals includes the doctor, dentist, optician and physiotherapist.
Services
When people have worked hard throughout their life and have been committed to helping others, we think they deserve to be well cared for in old age. They need a home where individuality is emphasised, with caring staff that have time to give attention to small details and where they have the choice of enjoying the company of like-minded fellow residents.
Bedrooms at Cumloden Manor are all tastefully furnished and we offer not only single rooms, but also doubles for couples, all with en-suite facilities. We also have a number of suites comprising a bedroom, a spacious lounge, a bathroom and kitchen with tea- and coffee-making facilities, if required.
Meals at Cumloden Manor are served in the dining room or in a resident's own room if preferred. Our meals are freshly cooked daily to provide nutritious and delicious food. All meals are made from fresh, locally-sourced ingredients to ensure all our residents benefit from a nutritious and well-balanced diet.
There is a variety of social events throughout the year, both at Cumloden Manor and within the wider community. Regular trips in the Home's minibus allow residents to enjoy the beautiful surrounding countryside, including the Galloway Hills and spectacular coastline. Our activities' organiser works three days a week, either on a one-to-one basis or for group activities.
