With our headquarters based in Belfast, Northern Ireland and offices in Dublin, FLEX Language Services offer Translation, Interpreting and language Tuition Services in all major world languages, with over 500 interpreters and translators. FLEX provides high-quality translation, interpreting and tuition services to public and private organisations across the UK and Ireland.
Laura is responsible for the operation, management and development of FLEX, concentrating on achieving new business, growth and expansion. Laura is also responsible for managing public tenders and oversees the management of client portfolios. The FLEX bookings team are responsible for client bookings of interpreters, translators and tutors.
Upon joining the FLEX Community of Translators and Interpreters you will have access to a wide range of quality work plus many benefits. With FLEX you enjoy the benefit of taking the jobs and hours that suit your other commitments. Our Bookings Team will contact you with opportunities but there is no obligation to take the job if unsuitable.
At FLEX our community spirit is what makes us strong as a team as our ethos is one of social giving. Currently we are offering all our translators and interpreters just starting out a free business plan through a dedicated Business adviser. We also work closely with the City Business Hub to provide ongoing training in a variety of areas such as PR and digital marketing to help our interpreters and translators in their own businesses.
We are privileged to work with a wide range of clients from the public and private sectors. In my experience from using FLEX, we have found that they are very reliable, and are always happy to go out of their way to facilitate a request even at short notice. Having locally based interpreters definitely is beneficial in an emergency.

This company has given me plenty of work to do. Unknown to the staff, in March of 2019 when I was jobless, they were my lifeline. I was receiving mutliple assignments weekly and could making a living. I am grateful for their services and the opportunities they provide. Staff is helpful and kind. The higher your availability and depending on your job demand you will most certainly receive assignments

Flex are offering their Interpreters to join video calls, FREE of charge, with one of the Ortus groups Business Advisers.
It is so nice to know that you are not only "used" for work but you are shown support and help when you need it the most.
The business Advisers will be answering queries related to the recent Self Employment help guidelines that the government have issued. As a nurse and an interpreter I wouldn't get any financial support myself but many of my interpreter colleagues who are self employed, with interpreting being their only source of income would, so this is really helpful. I

Super unreliable company.When i came to register with them 12months ago, i was told that there will be plenty of work.Sins then nothing has changed. I had problems with communiacation sins day 1. They ignoring my emails. Never giving proper answers, and when giving somewhat decent answer, it is delivered in rude manner. After resaving my CTC check few months ago i have bin offered only one booking for the language that i am not certified to do interpreting. This place is a mess. I would recommend to avoid this company at all cost.

Flex Language Services is a great company. The communication is in the highest standard with the interpreters and with the clients. Wages always in time, job offers depends on the public or private clients request. I received my urgently translated documents for the next day and can say only thank you for the cooperation.
