Set in the beautiful Elham Valley, within easy reach of Canterbury and Folkestone, The Fifth Trust Vineyard has plenty to offer. Our garden centre and caf are owned by The Fifth Trust charity and were set up to provide additional funding for our skills centres and to create work opportunities for our adult students with learning disabilities.

On weekdays, students work alongside staff at the Vineyard and in the local community tending plant stocks in our propagation unit, growing fruit and vegetables to supply the caf, baking cakes, making chutneys, serving customers, and delivering logs mowing lawns, handcrafting benches and log stores.
Services
The Vineyard Garden Centre is run by The Fifth Trust, a Kent-based charity for adults with learning disabilities. Come to us for a wonderful year-round selection of top quality plants, tools, materials and ornaments, plus our garden maintenance service. We sell a large range of sustainably sourced air- and kiln-dried firewood logs in nets or in bulk bags which we can deliver across east Kent.
The Vineyard Garden Centre offers a wide selection of top quality herbaceous plants, seasonal bedding, trees and shrubs, plus logs and all the tools, materials and ornaments you need to make your outdoor space bloom. We are open seven days a week throughout the year, including bank holidays, and pride ourselves on our friendly and expert service.
Overlooking the picturesque vineyard, and with indoor and outdoor seating, our licensed caf is the perfect place to stop for a light bite or hearty meal at any time of year. We serve delicious homemade food using vegetables grown at our skills centre in Barham and produce from local suppliers. We are open for breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea.
We sell a large range of firewood logs which we can deliver direct to your home in the East Kent area or you can collect. You can also buy nets of logs from the Vineyard garden centre, along with kindling and firelighters, and log stores made at our Wood Shack. We are happy to advise new customers about the best type of logs for their needs.

Brilliant full English breakfast, friendly service. Lovely idea to enable those with a disability to contribute in such a way - simply cannot recommend highly enough.

Small but very well stocked Cafe. Due to Covid, the range of Lunch options was limited, for which nobody could ever criticise.
Good table service and prices very competitive.
Lovely place to stop after a walk through Elham Valley.

It's great that the Vineyard has started up again. The garden centre is looking great and the farm shop is well worth a visit with fresh local farm products. What a lovely way to support the Fifth Trust and all the care homes it supports.
