We endeavour to provide a safe secure, exciting and caring environment for all children, parents and staff. We have two nurseries, one 26 place, based in the grounds of St. Cuthbert's Primary School, Lovaine Place, North Shields and one 31 place nursery next to Vets 4 Pets, Barnstaple Road, North Shields.
We recognise that our staff are our most important asset, each staff member brings their unique experience's and skills which are fully utilised to enhance the experiences for all children. Our Nursery Manager is well experienced and the staff team are fully supported by the managing directors who have wealth of experience in the early years.

Without qualifying a superlative this nursery is absolutely fantastic! My son loved going here for nearly 4 years. The staff are so supportive and really do go the extra mile, to the point my son was more than prepared for school when he went this year. If we were to have another child they would go to this nursery with no hesitation whatsoever, I highly recommend you do not look elsewhere your child will love it here.

Absolutely amazing nursery. The staff are all lovely, kind, gentle and supportive of all the children. My son took a while to settle and everyone was so positive and supportive without being pushy. He has a lovely time there and comes home full of stories. They always provide healthy, home cooked and varied meals which accommodate for his allergies. Can't reccomend them enough.

After over 3 years, our daughter has left Little Learners to start ‘big school’. She has loved every minute and adores all of the staff - who, over the years, have became more like family. We will be forever grateful for the superb start they provided in their nurturing environment and will miss them immensely.

My little girl absolutely loves going to this nursery! She has created a lovely bond with her key worker, as well as the other staff, and even though she's just 1 year old, she has made some lovely little friends in there. The staff at the nursery are absolutely fantastic! They keep me updated with everything my little girl has been up to, has… eaten, etc during the day. I feel comfortable enough to text or ring during the day to see how my little one is getting on. I always feel welcome when I drop off and pick up my child. I feel confident that she is safe, well looked after, and is catered

What a genuine pleasure it was working with the staff and children here. The staff are amazing in all they do for the children, the attention to detail in activities chosen and the 100% attention the children get from the staff. The staff go above and beyond to make the children feel welcome, safe and secure within the setting and that shows in the way the children play, learn and interact with each other and the staff. Hands down a fantastic place and thank you for letting me experience this close knit family that is Little Learners.

My son is due to start at Little Learners in September. I was so impressed when we went to look round recently. The facilities are great and as it's a small nursery it really feels like home from home. Most of all the staff were so lovely and warm and seemed to really value each child individually. I know my little boy will be well looked after when he starts. Thankyou all! X

We would like to say a huge thank you to all the girls at Little Learners. You are all fab! Jack absolutely loves nursery and it makes my life so much easier knowing he is happy and I can leave him without any tears. We love seeing him grow into a determined, independent toddler and I'm sure he's gonna miss you all this summer! I would highly recommend to anyone looking for childcare. See you all in September xx
