Joinery Coffee Shop
Over the years the joinery has become a well established and much loved local eatery, with tasty homemade soups, light lunches, speciality hot and cold drinks and a wonderful array of homebaking always on the menu. Everything is made daily here on the premises, and all food and drinks are freshly prepared to order in our open kitchen.

Our inside and outside (weather permitting) seating areas, takeaway service and lovely new Home For Home Family Space are all open for business! We have significantly reduced our capacity to ensure safe distancing between tables and between customers from different households who are seated at the same table.
Services
The Joinery is owned and managed by local mum of four, vet's wife, and Perth College UHI Professional Cookery graduate, Ann Durston. Right from the start my aim has been to offer fresh, simple, tasty food in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. Our focus is very much on good quality produce and excellent customer service.
The Joinery Coffee Shop is situated in the centre of the village of Meigle, only couple of miles from Perthshire's border with Angus and a 20 minute drive from Dundee city centre. Originally a Joiner's Workshop, the premises was bought by local lady Mary Conacher and her husband Fred back in 1992.

Staff were friendly and helpful...the food was really good and they had a lovely variety.......
The only thing that let it down was the decor...rustic look...pine tables ... chairs could have done with a cushion...will go back...probably just used to modern day cafes ...but loved sitting by the fire..

Service was good, and setting was nice. But the food was very disappointing, especially for the price. Almost £7 for a wrap, it wasn't any better than one you would buy in a supermarket as part of a meal deal.

Nice spot for tea, coffee and cake as well as a range of soups and sandwiches. Seating indoor and outdoor. Limited parking.

Although there are quite a lot of changes due to the current situation (disposable cups, cutlery etc) the food is still very good. The baking is always a lovely treat and the portions are more than suitable for sharing.

Lovely warm welcome with happy smiling staff, ordered a fruit scone with butter and jam, and a pot of tea, both excellent! I would highly recommend this cafe , nice and clean, if there is a large group of riders they will try their best to get everyone at tables together, nothing any problem to them.
