The little boy who was 18 months old, when we moved here in 2001 and who practiced his walking on the sand at Harlyn Bay - is now a young man of twenty. Our younger son is sixteeen. We bought the farm in our minds, even before we viewed it, driving along the lane and realising it's enviable position overlooking the Little Petherick Creek, towards the Camel Estuary and Rock, so close to Padstow and the north coast of Cornwall.

Trevorrick Farm is located approximately 1 mile from the village of St Issey and about 4 miles, by road, from Padstow. Heading towards Padstow, turn right in St Issey village centre having past the church on your left and the Ring o'Bells pub on your right. Follow this lane round to the left after almost half a mile.
Not all our visitors come to Trevorrick by car. The village of St Issey is approximately 1 mile from Trevorrick where there is a bus stop "Ring o'Bells". The bus operator Plymouth Citybus operates a mostly hourly service. Bus stops have illuminated sign boards indicating when the next service will be arriving.
This quirky "upside down" two storey cottage was half of the old grain storage barn and is named after the Owls, that now often roost and breed in a nearby open barn on our farm. It is cosy enough for couples, whilst offering plenty of space for families. The entrance is up several steps to a stable door opening into the large living room and kitchen.

We had a wonderful week at Trevorrick Farm in early July. The farm has everything you need for small children. Our daughter (3yrs old) really enjoyed feeding and walking the lambs each morning, handling the guinea pigs, playing in the outdoor play areas and swimming. The bookable slots in the swimming pool work really well as you essentially get a private pool for 45mins each day! The surrounding area is beautiful and although we didn't do the walk into Padstow (due to little legs not wanting to be carried!), it was really easy to get around and explore the local beaches and towns. We had a brilliant stay. Everything was perfect for our young children. They loved the animals and the play areas. Particular highlights were feeding the pigs, stroking the ducks and taking the lambs for a walk (or perhaps the other way around!). Melanie and Mike are friendly and always happy to help. The accommodation was clean and it all felt very safe despite Covid. Thank you!

We are a family of four with 18month and 4years old children. We stayed in Serendipity cottage in June 2021. We had a truly fantastic stay. We particularly enjoyed all the animals, from giving veggie leftovers to the piggies to spending time with the guinea pigs or saying hi to the ram. Bottle-feeding the lambs was the kids’ favorite moment of the day. The two playgrounds are perfect, we had a hard time convincing our little ones to leave the farm. The farm itself is very close to the beach and the little town of Padstow (a lovely walk through the fields) where we could enjoy an ice cream or

We had a fantastic stay at Trevorrick Farm. We wanted somewhere toddler friendly and it met all our hopes. The big play areas are grassy and filled with equipment; slides, a swing, play houses, little cars, tractors and tricycles, etc. It's great to be surrounded by animals - chickens and ducks wander around, and you can feed pigs and goats and stroke the guinea pigs on your lap. You can help bottle feed the lambs and even take them for a walk on a lead! Melanie runs an efficient operation and is super friendly and helpful with any request. She's also extremely good with little children. The farm

We had the most wonderful week at Owls Roost Cottage with our 1 and 3 year old. The cottage has everything you need for little ones and the farm has so much for them to do, from swimming and a playground to feeding the pigs, lambs and guinea pigs. Melanie is the most wonderful host and really cares about her guests having a wonderful time. The location is also ideal, so close to Padstow and lots of wonderful sandy beaches. Highly recommend.

Our family of 4 had a fantastic time at Trevorrick Farms. Melanie and her family made it a super memorable (and safe) trip. Highlights included the guinea pigs, the newly-hatched chicks, Shaun the Sheep, the indoor (warm) pool, and the fresh eggs. So many things to keep our boys occupied and so much to do around the area. We'll be back!

My husband and I and the dog just had a wonderful week at Trevorrick. Stayed in the round house.Accomodation spotless and very comfortable. Melanie is very covid conscious so felt completely safe.
Had the pool to myself every morning, it was lovely. Walked along the creek to Padstow. The walk down to the creek was good for the dog and we could let her off lead down there for a good run.
Melanie is very friendly and always there to give help or advise.
Will definitely recommend to friends.
